We were greeted like family at check in, we immediately felt welcomed, our room was upgraded which was a lovely touch. Our room and the resort has the most amazing view of the forest, we had a very comfortable one night stay and wished we had longer to enjoy all that the hotel has to offer. We had an amazing dinner too and would recommend the tasting menu, the drinks are very good value and the service was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was good, we had everything that we needed, and a lovely table overlooking the great view. We felt very relaxed during the whole stay, it was so quiet, peaceful and pretty, we really didn't want to leave and will definitely go back the next time we are in Tuscany.

Beautiful place with absolutely nice & helpful people. Good food, nice service, not far from the Arezzo, Poppi, San Gimignano, Siena, Florence. We spent great time in "I Tre Baroni". Go there. Order everything from menu. I think there are no better or worse positions. And drink wine Toscana.

This is a quiet hotel in a quiet part of Tuscany. Most guests are Italian which contribute to the feeling it is not a touristy area. Meaning for non-italians. As the hermitage and monastery are nearby, during Ferragosta (August 15th), it is crowded with Italian tourists. The hotel is situated in a nature park so ideal for people who love hiking and mountain biking. The staff in this hotel is very kind. Upon our arrival we were warmly welcomed by Marta who works at the reception. We had the Garden Suite on the ground floor for conveniently unloading our car. But I think there are more rooms on the ground floor where you can temporarily park your car for unloading. The rooms are spacious but standard. For us they were fine and we were not bothered by noises from neighbouring rooms (like mentioned in another review). An Italian breakfast is included, as well as dinner outside on the terrace as we had opted for half board. The dinner was amazing and excellent. All dishes nicely presented and of high quality. Definitely a level up compared to the hotel itself. We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the kind staff, the nice location and swimming pool, and it has an excellent price/value ratio as well.

We stayed for 12 nights. Wonderful kitchen and friendly people. If you like a quite hotel by in small mountain village, is this really an opportunity. You have a nice view on the castle of Poppi from the hotel. If you want to visit Firenze / Arrezo / Siena / San Gimangno and Volterra, then you have to travel a lot trough the mountains. Very nice swimming pool and not so expensive for 4 star Hotel. The big advantage is that this a small owned family hotel.

we found this place while touring the national park near Camaldoli. They had the last room available due to a cancellation. Piece of luck. We stayed for the evening and also had dinner at the restaurant.
Total quietness and great view on the Poppi castle that shined in the distance.
Dinner was quite good and the atmosphere in the dining room was charming.
It's a place I am writing down for the next time I need a break from daily chaos.
