Overall the hotel is about a 4.5. Downside - hotel is 1 hour away from downtown Alexandria, so if you are looking to stay close to the city, this isn't the hotel to stay out. Also there were chunks of chipped painting on the outside of the hotel. I was a little bit discourage at first, but inside is nice, clean and decent. Some of the beach stuff could be updated, but it is not bad. If you are looking for night activity or things to do at night, you are remote from everything. Nothing is near. A little secluded, so watch out for signs. Wifi is pretty much nonexistent. I think the only place that you could get wifi was in the hotel lobby, but even then there were problems connecting to it. So if you need to be connected to the world, using the internet, this is not the hotel. However, getting cell phone serve was great. I was able to do my normal media browsing and talk on the phone.
Upside - It is right on the Mediterranean. If you get one of the sea view rooms, you can literally walk outside to the pool area and then straight to the beach. Rooms are clean and decent. Staff is nice. Breakfast was great. There are various pools and you can get decent rooms with a sea view. Property is big, so when they offer to take you to your room, say "Yes." You do feel like you have privacy. It is quiet and safe - away from the chaos. Have I mentioned the amazing Mediterranean view?
I spent one night at the hotel with a friend and her 2 kids. Thankfully they had adjoining rooms (we didn't even ask and I booked the room through Expedia). The kids (12 & 13) LOVED it. They went from the ocean to the pool, running around. We relaxed and took it easy. Enjoyed the ocean and the sunset after a day of site seeing in Alex.

I went there yesterday the hotel is good but not great it deserve only 4 stars . Rooms are good furnished . It has 2 clean pools . The beach is great sea is sandy but there is some jelly fish . Service is not good .food is good but not great .

Lovely beach, friendly staff. Rooms outdated. Could do with a face lift. Breakfast room too crowded. Close to Alexandria.
Value for money though. There is an onsite pharmacy which is always a bonus. The weather towards the end of Aug was amazing.

Hotel was very good in beach and staff but rooms needing improvement and food quality was low
Pools was good but if you will take room pool view donnot care about people near to your room because of pools

Defiantly can't classify it as 5* hotel , the place is old , rooms are old and not really maintained , we stayed there for 1 night escaping from the city , view is amazing , plenty of swimming pools and one kids pool , nice beach even if there was jelly fish in the water but again that they can't control .... the place is an average , can be better with some renovation for example the air condition in the room generates more noise than air :))) .
Just my 2 cents that hopefully will help to assist other travelers
