Stephen Pon 26/10/2017 13:57One of the best IBIS for location and quality of bed, breakfasts, friendliness and amenities. Only 1 real issue the area has a serious mosquito problem which is not the hotel's fault as they come up the plumbing and air conditioning. However attack night after night and 23 bites (not counting the 20 or so little buggers I killed) slightly put a damper on the holiday.
Good stay, despite the mosquitos !
Huw Won 12/10/2017 22:58Another business trip, with two nights and three days in Antwerp. The room was clean and the service good. I made the mistake of leaving the window open and got savaged by a mosquito or two. A colleague also had the same problem. Next night, closed windows - no problem, and a lot quieter. Overall, a perfectly good place to stay, handy for the city centre and a ten minute walk from the railway station.
Decent central hotel
JohnEssex1957on 08/10/2017 17:45Overall, a good hotel. Comfortable bed. Clean room. Drawback being the small bathroom. If anyone was on the large side, it would be difficult to use the toilet. Not really enough room to dry off properly after shower. The shower though is excellent.

Nice breakfast with fresh ananas and Belgium waffle own making stand.
The hotel faces one side to plaza of local theatre that is very loud in the evening till late night because of children playing and skating there... the air condition didn’t work so must be with open window for fresh air
Hate the new beds at Ibis
SaltsUKon 06/10/2017 15:23It is not the fault of this hotel but Accor have rolled out new beds/mattresses across all Ibis hotels and they are awful. I have tried 3 different stays in 3 different hotels and not had a goods night sleep once since the new beds arrived. They feel like you are sleeping on an incontinence pad / hospital bed. There is not one natural fibre in sight. As for the hotel, it is in a good location and the staff are nice & polite. The rooms are small, bathroom tiny. There is a parking opposite too 18euro/24 hour. I would stay again but only if the beds are changed !!
