I stayed two nights at the Ibis and was upgraded to a beautiful balcony room with outdoor seating, It was more what I would call a suite. These rooms are located on the top Level 16 of the hotel, so I am rating this particular section of accommodation. The view was great, overlooking the surrounding city landscape, and particularly colourful by night. Very comfortable King bed and lots of bench space and an additional section on the side with comfortable lounge chairs. Very spacious indeed, and a very large good bathroom, not what I'd call super luxurious, but very nice with a good shower over bath, and a long vanity area. I felt very good every time I walked into my room. The reception staff all naturally friendly and helpful The position of the hotel is another good feature. Only two or three blocks and you are in the Queen Street mall, and a few steps away from the Brisbane river.

stayed from 12/11- 17/11 was good hotel located near the city centre very accessible. good breakfast like the honey and the pancake which is easy to make and delicious. 3 good working lift the only negative comment was the reception, there was 1 small table with 4 chairs and the reception was so crowded specially if groups are queing to check in, stafsf are polite and I have a good room very quite. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Stayed 2 nights during week and found the hotel to be everything we expected. Fast book in and book out. Great location for Convention Centre ($8 Uber fare) or could easily walk but we had one person with a walking problem. The room was fine with two queen beds and good linen. Nice to have a bath and plenty of hot water. Breakfast special was a bonus, but there was just something 'missing'. Not the food, it was adequate, but the atmosphere perhaps?? We chose not to eat in the second day. There was no noise from traffic or other guests. Very necessary to have parking ticket validated before moving car from Tank St car park. Being from the country we hate having to pay for parking, but it is just part of city life, I suppose. All good for this visit and we got the hotel at a good price by booking early.

Fantastic stay. Great location, easy access to all popular spots, including the river to all stops via city cat. Could easily see southbank from the room. , Very pleasant stay. Room very clean and spacious. Very friendly staff, always smiling, Great views, quiet and secure. Huge kudos to Wayne and Tania @ reception. Very helpful, very accommodating and professional. Both Wayne and Tania made our stay exceptionally pleasant. We cannot express our gratitude enough for their assistance during our stay. Thank you. Chris and Rosalyn.

The restaurant was not working because it was a holiday, it was a bit slow. Check in was a bit slow. Nobody told us about the city party day Ekka. There was not enough information about how to get around
