Second stay
LaleCBon 17/11/2017 12:16This was my second stay in this hotel again with a group of friends. I made the reservation for 3 rooms yet they gave us rooms on different floors. Mine was on the ground floor. I liked my previous stay but I can’t say the same about my recent. The beds were too small. I didn’t feel comfortable this time neither my friends
Nice clean hotel
615karinaaon 15/11/2017 17:42Though the hotel is situated far from the city of Florence, it has many advantages. The place itself is nice, surrounded with mountains with clouds on their tops; there is a huge shopping mall in front of it.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but well-equipped and very clean. The breakfasts are very good!
Short visit
ioanamariai2017on 15/11/2017 15:20We remained at Ibis Firenze Prato Est only for one night. I used my points to pay part of the fare, so we ended up paying only EUR 7,00, with one free welcome drink. In my opinion the overall experience was definitely more than we expected for a 3-star hotel.
Efficient hotel, strange location
Roomdetectiveon 09/08/2017 23:03Visited on a hot day and thankfully the air conditioning worked quite well. The room was functional but there were a few blemishes. The staff were very friendly and breakfast had a reasonable choice.
The only thing that was a problem is finding an evening meal without getting into your car. The hotel location is in an industrial/retail area, there being a huge shopping mall a quarter of a mile away. Ended up eating there in the food court. The hotel stands almost on its own on one edge of a vast car for the mall.
So for a stopover it works really well and avoids getting caught up in Florence traffic. But it's no good for visiting the city itself.
what you expect from ibis
alkofon 04/07/2017 18:17good motorway access situated next to a large shopping mall. standard basic room with decent bathroom and narrow beds! Decent continental breakfast. The area is a bit dodgy - so we were told by carabinieri. Caters for business travellers mainly.
