Excellent room with best shower I have ever seen in a hotel, glass double doors that fold inwards. Huge terrace overlooking the Marina, perfect sport for a pre or post dinner drink. Or even both|
Review for coffee visit
ClogsinFranceon 15/10/2017 21:20The restaurant does not look welcoming. It is a concrete block and could do with a few flower pots - relatively small investment - which would make it look a lot friendlier.
It was one of the few restaurants in the Granville harbour area that was open for coffee this Sunday morning and of course there were quite a few guests. The two members of staff worked very hard but it was obvious that they couldn't cope. The service was only just acceptable, tables were not arranged properly, there was a lot of litter on the floor. Actually, one could say that the place looked a mess. Ibis managers should be able to predict the approx number of guests on a day like this and assign staff levels accordingly. Not doing so could be interpreted as disrespecting your clients. It also shows a lack of concern for your staff (we actually felt sorry for them).
Great hotel, however book seaview room.
davidjohnhall1on 25/09/2017 15:11Used the hotel as a base to tour Normandie and Mont St. Michel area. Hotel is set on the jetty, facing the marina - great spot! However book a room with a sea view, the otherside of the hotel faces partly onto a warehouse wall. There is plenty of free parking.
As usual with Ibis the food is excellent, and well priced.
Staff are friendly and helpful.

Location perfect, easy parking. Bed large and comfortable.
Sea view a bit of a joke, it would be perfect if I was ten foot tall. I thought I would be able to sit and look out.
Did not use restaurant.
Perfect to take the boat on the next day
Jérémie Bon 08/09/2017 08:12The quality you expect from an Ibis Hotel. Nice all you can eat breakfast buffet, served early in the morning (6:30 am). The hotel is near to the gare maritime where you can get the boat to the Channel Islands.
