Nowhere near enough room to seat people who wanted breakfast. Pre paid hotel but asked to pay for parking when checking in as they knew we were there three days so £24 at £8 per day. Paid in cash stupidly and on check out asked to pay £24 for parking!! 😡 No reception just young people with a mobile phone app to manage your booking

I’ve stayed in an ibis budget before and wondered what this would be like in comparison. It was very cheap and ideal location for the Echo (just across the road) and 5 mins walk from Liverpool one.
I was pleased to see it was much nicer than the budget ibis hotel I stayed in. The room had carpets, nicer decor and bathroom more spacious. However the mattress was so hard it’s unreal, just like the budget hotel. Both me and my sister woke up with a bad back and I’m pregnant so was really hard to turn over... like lying on the floor!
Next time I will pay more and get a better nights sleep.
Staff very attentive.
Car park reasonably priced at £8 (considering it’s a lot more for Liverpool 1 car park)

People need to remember that this is a budget hotel, its clean and comfortable, and basic as you would expect. But the hotels location more than make up for what this hotel lacks, get a room facing the front, the Albert dock looks great at night (but maybe they has xmas lights on we went in november) but even in the day its a beautiful scenery to look out on, the breakfast is buffet style, we found to be well worth the money, bacon eggs sausage beens and hash browns, cereal, pasrties, tea and a coffee machine for a lovely cappuccino, they have an ironing room located on the 2nd floor i think (my husband used this i didnt go)Its a 2 minute walk into the centre for all the shops and mathew street only 5 min walk if you want to party at night, we stayed for 2 nights and would definitely stay again!

Had a lovely stay here yesterday, good night's sleep, got up this morning had some breakfast before check out at 12. Got back checked out and was told the exit barrier would recognise our reg on the car but we sat there for a while nothing happened. We pressed for assistance and the first barrier opened. We drove through and the 2nd barrier didn't open so I called the hotel for assistance. All I got was an accusation of running through on a red light (barrier lifts on a greenlight) and the phone slammed down on me!!! This Is the reason for my low star rating, ibis you have lost a customer!!! ���

I stayed at the hotel to attend a conference at the nearby ACC. Upon arrival, there was nowhere to park and I had to resort to leave my car at the nearby Albert Dock carpark and carry my luggage back to the hotel. Checking in was easy and the staff were polite courteous and efficient. The room was adequate and clean. There was one point however; there was absolutely nowhere to do any work - no desk, no table or any flat surface. This made my life a little more difficult than it needed to be. Maybe not a great hotel for the business traveller. Checkout the next day was easy and, again, the staff couldn't have been more polite and helpful.
