Near from everything and universities and commerce. I'll stay for two weeks and love it! Recomendo for everybody! In CBD there are free trams that bring you around the central area. There are many attractions in the region.

Only a few 2 bed apartments are fully equipped to prepare food.
Booked direct similar to a booking engine price but Buffet breakfast included for a $1.00 and not normal $22.00.
Some 1 bedroom apartments do not have a view, just office windows looking your way.free internet a bonus.
Location was very good for general sightseeing and catching free trams being in the inner city circle. A pleasant stroll up the road to Little Italy, Lygon Street, with all its eateries and gelati parlors.
Staff friendly and knowledgable re "What to do, where to go etc.,".
This is not a 4 star hotel nor does it pretend to be, but they are interested in their guests, and their welfare,even feedback is acknowledged.

A great location, close to tram, walking distance to Bourke St shops or Melbourne University. The beds were comfortable and the room was fresh and clean. It was all we needed for a good nights sleep in the city.

We had stayed in the hotel for 4 nights,it is centrally located.the room was good and clean.staffs are nice ,specially we would like to thank Ms. Merina Joshi (Customer service officer)for her warm welcomed,it was our 1st time in Melbourne and we got all necessary information about the city,transportation,nearby restaurant etc from her.she is so loyal and gave us the proficient service.From this hotel we could easily catch free tram to roam around the city.

I chose to stay at the Ibis in Therry Street for location near the markets. The staff are friendly and attentive and the location was ideal for my purposes. Being close to Elizabeth Street was also very convenient for a walk to the central CBD. There is a taxi rank opposite hotel with quick service. Breakfast was reasonable as well.
