My partner and I booked to stay at the Ibis Nottingham Centre for one night on Thursday 9th November. We didn't expect much as we only paid £40 for the night. However, from the second we arrived we were both extremely pleasantly surprised. The reception is immaculate, bright and airy and there is always someone on hand to help. There's a small bar in the reception with seating, as well as a computer, although all rooms have WiFi access for free.
The room was so much better than we expected, it was spacious and clean and very nicely decorated. We had a double room (405), which had everything we needed. From tea and coffee making facilities to a hairdryer to clothing storage and extra pillows, the room really had it all. We also had a nice desk and a sofa bed. We only used the TV once but it worked a dream. The bathroom was a little ensuite wet room, which we didn't expect but were absolutely fine with. Everything in there was clean, and they have shower gel and shampoo in the wet room so you don't need to take your own. My absolute favourite part of the room was the bed. I'd seen that they advertised their beds, but I honestly questioned how it could be any different to any other hotel. I was wrong. I have never had such a great sleep, and wish I could have stayed in it for longer. If I'm returning to the ibis for anything, it'll be that!
I cannot comment on food as we did not eat in the hotel. There are lifts in reception that go to every floor and I believe on floors 3 & 4 there are ironing facilities. The cleaners were very polite and quiet, we left our sign hanging on the door handle and didn't even know they were on our floor until we left our room. In fact, the whole hotel was quiet, but not sure if this was because it was a Thursday night.

Fantastic room at a great price. Just a shame the member of staff that we dealt with when checking in/out was very rude. Made to feel like we were a nuisance. Apart from this we were definitely happy with the facilities provided.

The room was comfortable and ideal for us. The location was amazing and the car park across the road was secure and at £10 a bargain, don’t forget to get your parking ticket stamped by the hotel for discount. We didn’t find the hotel any noisier than you would expect for a place where peaolple are coming and going during the evening and in the morning. Excellent value for money and we are already planning to revisit in December.

Bog standard Ibis in a Central location and only 10 minutes from the office. Food was speedy but uninspiring and not a massive choice but the bed was the highlight and I've had the best nights sleep in a long time

A very good, convenient City centre hotel. Easy walking distance to the theatre, bars, restaurants, and shops. Stayed here many times and will continue to use this hotel and their sister hotels for weekend breaks.
