Great, central location.
_jandkmcmahonon 07/11/2017 12:18A great location for exploring Orleans by foot. Very easy walking into the main centre of the city with numerous restaurants to sa our. Room was comfortable and very clean......loved the "porthole" style window in the bathroom.
Another comfortable stay
Elizabeth Mon 04/11/2017 15:18The Hotel Ibis in Orleans is always a welcome sight. Our room was spotlessly clean and quiet. We did not take advantage of the restaurant this time as there was some construction in evidence. However we will be back, I am sure. Staff were helpful, as always.
One of the Best Budget Hotels
Dave Hon 06/10/2017 04:32We meant to be in Orleans only to transfer from self-drive to train (to Paris), with no great expectations of our hotel accommodation. Wow, we have stayed in several Ibis hotels but we were very pleasantly surprised.
From when we arrived until we left, the staff were super friendly and efficient; our room was up there in Ibis quality and cleanliness; and meals were just great.
We arrived without booking car parking (our error), but we were given very discounted parking at a nearby parking station.
We had not expected Orleans to be a interesting as it was, so we may return. If we do, I see no reason not to stay here again.
Not impressed
km4232on 22/09/2017 07:59OK we arrived, car park not easy to find - marked fitness parking for somebody else. Room small but pleasant. There had been something sticky spilled on the floor hext to the bed which I stood in. Bedding very clean and shower room very clean. Shower very small. We did try to get something to eat. Were informed restaurant opened 1900 hours so snacks available. Didn't want a snack so we decided to wait. Several more people arrived in the reception area - obviously wanting to eat in the restaurant. We all managed to get one drink and then the receptionist, lady serving the drinks and restuarant staff all sat down for their meail. We could all smell it and hear them eating. We could not get another drink as the server was eating. We left and got food elsewhere. Unfortunately normal for France - no customer consideration whatsoever.
Good location but poor value
Peter Lon 15/09/2017 08:05Close to the town centre but the rooms are suitable really for only 1 night as they are tiny with few facilities and a shower room/wc that is a tight squeeze.Also there is a metal bar across it's threshold that easily catches out the unwary ; 3 times for us including a cut toe! Despite the headline price it cost 99 euros plus breakfast.
