On a trip to Cairns in September, we stayed one night at the Ibis Styles, and found it to be a good choice. It is well located, and within walking distance of the Esplanade - approximately a 15 - 20 minute walk to the marina. The staff were pleasant, the room well appointed and spacious. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it if staying in Cairns.

Hotel is well positioned and is a short walk from The Esplanade and Reef Terminal. The staff at reception are extremely helpful. The hotel rooms have tea/coffee making facilities and comfortable beds. The bathroom is dated but clean. The hotel restaurant is reasonably priced but limited choice. Continental Breakfast was not that great. Would have been nice to have at least cheese served! You have to pay extra for ground coffee. Its OK if you get a good deal on price.

Visited on 2 occasions for 1 night each as a cheap stop over during journeys between Daintree and Mission Beach.
Room was clean but very basic would only want to use it was a place to stay as a stop over when you don’t need to use the room for to long. Parked on the street as they only have 6 spaces but the street parking outside is free. Air-conditioning unit was falling apart and only worked on one setting.

My wife and I enjoyed a very comfortable stay at this hotel. We arrived early from our cruise ship; staff were welcoming, went through all the check-in formalities, stored our luggage and off we went to experience Cairns. We returned in the afternoon, our room was on level 3, clean and spacious with ample storage, toiletries supplied at vanity and in shower, coffee/tea making facilities and a nice sized refrigerator. Room cleaned daily. Very helpful and pleasant staff, enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee in the lobby, and no hassle check-out. Great location, a couple of blocks from the boardwalk and within walking distance of many of the main attractions and some wonderful restaurants. We would have absolutely no hesitation in staying here again if visiting Cairns.

Ibis Styles is very well located adjacent to CBD. One block from main bus station and CBD, a few blocks from Esplanade. Hotel staff very friendly, and rooms large and comfortable. Good value for money.
