I stayed for two nights at the hotel on a weekend away with family. The staff were lovely, the hotel is reasonably priced and we found both rooms very clean. The beds were comfortable and I appreciated being able to control the heat/AC, though the room my mum and I shared (one double bed) was really small and had a large chair that really got in the way! It also was at the front of the building but had no net curtain so we didn't feel comfortable opening the curtains, however we weren't at the hotel much during the day anyway. The room my other family members shared was a wheelchair access room and far more spacious. The continental breakfast was just fine, with toast, rolls, fruit, pastries, cereal etc. but as other reviewers said the coffee machine is in a really awkward spot, I think a lot of hassle could be solved by moving it to the other side of the room.
The location of the hotel is a bit far outside the city centre but I think this is reflected in the price. The public transport links are excellent though, we were never waiting more than a few minutes for a bus or train. The area is mostly residential and the main streets around felt safe, but our satnav initially sent us through a housing estate from Leyton Midland Road station that was a little sketchy in places, so I'd recommend sticking to the main road.

Yes, I have stayed here before but after my last visit I must write another review. Firstly I appreciate that this is a very busy and cost effective place to stay. The main area caters not only for the guests staying in the hotel at one side of the road but also to guest staying in the annex across the road. The room didn't have a good atmosphere as the environment had to be controlled by the A/C and no window could be opened. I attach a photograph of the condensation that we had to endure every morning. I even left a card key in the holder to try and dry the atmosphere to find that the chambermaid had removed the key. The breakfast was good but very busy and with only 1 coffee machine there was always a queue. I also got told off for turning the heat up in the large belt toater as I was told there could be a fire. After the first day I decided to stay away from the fruit bowls as I witnessed then getting topped up and was concerned that they would never be empty. Finally, the carpets in the stairwell was pretty disgusting and need replace. So at the beginning I stated that it was a busy place and I think with a little bit of additional effort this place could raise their offering.

It was a nice stay for us, we could check-in around 11.00 am instead of 2.00 pm. The room was clean, breakfast is okay and the staff was friendly and helpful. The bed is veeery comfortable :) you will have free wifi, complimentary tee and coffee making facilities in the room. They are making some renovations and refurbishment and the new style is modern and nice.

Booked 2 rooms in June for GNR gig - both clean and tidy - easy check in and a great continental breakfast next morning with plenty of choice.
Reception staff pleasant - slightly strange that rooms were in a different building however no problems encountered.
Reasonable price so would use again1

Would never ever stay or recommend this hotel to any one. No hot water all weekend staff wouldnt help only thing they said was to go to a room on next floor for a shower. Spoke to the most arrogant & ignorant manager you would ever meet who just walked away rather than try to help. Please dont waste your money here. The other part of the hotel which is located the other side of the road is being used as a place for ladies to take their customers!!! If you know what i mean! In my view the place should be closed down. I am in touch with their head office just awaiting a reply to my complaint. Please STAY AWAY from this hotel.
