A typical Ibis Styles hotel...

... located near/in the industrial zone, which makes is a very appealing choice for business travellers like myself.

The hotel is only about 5 years old, clean, stylish lobby, enough parking, even Tesla Superchargers right outside the hotel. There's a steakhouse across the street where you can get a really good steak, so everything you might need is there.

The rooms are typical Ibis Styles standard, comfortable shower, bathroom has a decent size and offers a bidet! Didn't find a minibar or anything to drink in the room, which was slightly weird. Very clean!

Bed was ok, nothing to specifically point out, nothing to complain either.

Breakfast buffet was ok, very appropriate for an Ibis Styles hotel - I've seen a few better ones and many worse ones.

Pricing was very fair, so I can definitely recommend the hotel for business travellers.

Non-hotel related tipp: If you're going into Milano in the morning make sure to leave no later than 7:50 as the roads leading into the city get completely clogged up after 8. It took us 40min to do the 7.2km from the hotel to our meeting in Locate Triulzi!

No Shuttle, No kettle, No mini bar....

Its a 5 years old Hotel but it is still very New. Rooms are clean. Hotel crew is very Friendly and helpful. For a 3 star Bathrooms comfort are like 5 star hotel. Rooms are big. But there was no slipper, No kettle and no mini bar at the room.
Hotel Location is about 18km to Milano and transport to the city center is a big problem if you do not have yr own car. Taxi cost about 85 euro. Because they are coming from city center to bring you to center. Otherwise its half price. But no other options. If you accept all then enjoy your stay Friends.

Middle of nowhere but usefully placed with above average restaurant

As you approach the Ibis Styles by night, the ladies that line the road might give you a wave if you're lucky. But they are more interested in the truckers offloading their goods at the nearby 'Carpiano' Iindustrial estate.
Not a good start, bu this budget hotel has some redeeming features.
All the standard things you would expect from an Ibis styles including a well cleaned rooms, an almost comfortable bed, free WiFi etc
No bathroom goodies, as they have been replaced by the "all-in-one" shampoo/bodywash on the wall.
Breakfast is a spread of cold cuts (turkey/ salami/ham/cheese), italian pastries and cakes, fruit, cereal.
This hotel is not far from Milan Linate airport, and I believe serves as a stop off point to those travelling to other areas in the region (there was a few busloads of japanes tourtists who just stayed for a night)
It's also easy to get into Milan if you are driving (as I was every day to work...) - but beware the Milan traffic - it's pretty busy, especially on Fridays.

The saving grace is the restaurant - 'Zarinella Primi in Pizzeria' who serve fine quality pasta (Paccheri with garlic and chilli flakes was a favourite), steaming steaks cookin on the hote plate, pizzaz (the house special 'Pizza Zarinella' is great).
Wine and beer is affordable and there is no 'Coperto' (this is an Italian cover charge to eat in restaurants which pops up in many tourist areas, about 6-8 euros per person - watch out when you are out and about!)
The chicken looked a little dry and the swordfish wasn't exciting.
Nono / grandad who runs it with his daughters was a fine gentleman

I personally didn't bother with the Roadhouse restaurant next door.

However, across the road is an amazing high-end fish restaurant 'Lodigiani', kind of hidden away - the car park was full on Friday and they had trouble fitting us in. A wide variety of fresh fish, forest mushrooms, pastas, delicious starters (anchovies & creamy mozarella on sundried tomato toast). You'll pay for it, but the quality is excellent

Style over function

Stayed at this hotel for a total of 11 nights spread over two visits. Initial impressions from outside are smart and stylish, something which continues inside the foyer and reception area, although the bright green colour schemes are not to my taste.

All of the staff that I encountered, particularly the reception team were friendly and helpful and their level of English was very good.

The two rooms that I had were my key issue with the hotel, whilst they were clean and functional from the perspective of a bed and bathroom, the decor and furnishing was very style over function in my view. There was little to no space, cupboards or drawers to unpack clothes so as a consequence I literally lived out of my suitcase.

The bed was big and comfortable and the bathroom was of a good size. I had a large shower in one room and then a bath/shower in my second room.

There were no comfy chairs in the room to sit and relax and even the sofas and chairs in the bar/lounge area were not particularly comfortable. It can't be good if you can't wait to get to the airport to sit in a "comfy" chair!

Overall a clean, well kept hotel with rooms of a good size, but for me the furnishing in the rooms and bar areas need some more consideration.

This is one of the best IBIS hotels we visited. It was very comfortable! It had everything you may need in the room and it definitely felt luxurious. People were very friendly. Breakfast was good. There is an outdoor seating area which was perfect for relaxation at night w/ glass of wine. There is a water feature that made the atmosphere even better.
