It is a family friendly hotel very well located. Walking distance from port, old city center and sea side promenade. We walked everywhere with stroller most of the time. Lots of nice shops and cafes around. Very popular big playground on Place Macena for kids of different ages around 10 min walking from the hotel. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Continental Breakfast buffet was good. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at the Ibis with another couple, rooms really clean and friendly staff. Good location within walking distance of old town and promenade de Anglais. Lots of bars and restaurants. Recommend getting the bus to Monaco, fab!
What a change!

Returned to this hotel after 10 years and the improvement was very impressive! The lobby is very luminous and friendly. The room offers almost everything you can expect: it is large enough to host a small fridge which might be useful during the hot Summers.
Great value and a good location

A modern hotel located just a short distance from the port and the old town, it offers good facilities and friendly staff at a quite reasonable price. Our room backed on to other buildings so there wasn’t any view, but equally there was no noise either and we slept soundly both nights. The room itself was clean and tidy although was clearly built more to a budget than some places. The wardrobe for example was open (no doors) and had just four hangers. Providing any more would have been pointless as there would have been no room to hang anything else up as it was so narrow. There was a TV on the wall, but no tea/coffee facilities and the safe was presumably a chargeable extra since there was no lock mechanism in it. An unusual feature was a full length window between the shower cubicle and the bedroom – fortunately this had a blind on it! A bottle of water and a bag of sweets were provided on the first day, but these were not replenished subsequently. A vending machine around the corner charged a rather expensive €2 per bottle.
The help yourself breakfast buffet offered all the usual options such as cold meat and cheese, cereals, yoghurts, fruits, pastries and so on. The selection was a little more limited than some places with only one variety of meat and cheese for example, but everything that we had was pretty good, especially the croissants! A nice touch was one of those machines where you put whole oranges in the top and get freshly squeezed juice out the bottom. Another nice touch was that any leftover pastries were left out at the front of the hotel to help yourself to during the day.
Overall I thought this was a good value hotel in central location and I’d happily stay here again if in the area.
Brilliant budget hotel

We loved this hotel. Six of us stayed here for four nights. The rooms are spacious with all the facilities we needed. The hotel is situated just around the corner from a small but busy square that I loved. There are several bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk from the hotel and a pharmacy on one corner. Staff at the hotel were all lovely, very welcoming and knew the answers if we needed any advice about the area. The shower in our room was impressive and there was always plenty of hot water. The towels were replaced each day. Three plug sockets in our room for all those items that need recharging. There was a very efficient hairdryer in the bathroom and shower gel and liquid soap too. There was a television in the room too but we didn't use it. Air conditioning was very good too. I thought the breakfasts were fantastic. Typical continental breakfast that you helped yourself to. Fresh orange juice, fruit salad, yogurt, cheese, ham, several cereals, lots of choices of bread or toast and choice of jams. During the day, there was a table with a choice of complementary croissants, tea and coffee that you could just help yourself to. At night we used to sit and share a bottle of wine before venturing out to eat, apart from the breakfast area, there is no further meal service but we enjoyed visiting the restaurants in the immediate area and were never disappointed. I believe there are two lifts in the hotel although we only ever used one. I would recommend this hotel, we got a deal and it was worth a whole lot more than we paid, I would stay again in a heartbeat.
