We only stayed one night at this resort, but it was a very pleasant stay. It was a long bumpy road into the resort but worth it. We were very warmly welcomed and our room comfortable and clean. It had both overhead fans and air conditioning. We dined in the restaurant and enjoyed a good selection of hot spicy food. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

The hotel resort is kept very clean and tidy. The bedrooms are a good size with a separate dressing room and bathroom, there was a bath and a separate shower cubicle. There were plug in mosquito deterants in the room. There was an excellent choice of food for the evening meal but breakfast there was very little left. There had been a couple large groups who had obviously cleared the table. The hotel is in an isolated location but there is a very large well maintained pool with sunbeds.

It is a very nice place to stay. Cleanliness is quite good as well (room, pool, ...)
The staff are quite helpful as well. (Ideal resort's manager helped sort out one of the problems in our booking as well).
cost of food is high though.
location is very good. (note that if one wants to visit the city itself, it could be slightly away).

Spent 2 nights here at the end of October, before the peak season began. River View room (we were allocated a ground floor room in a two story block in the garden) was sufficiently large and included an ensuite bathroom that had both shower and full size bath and a small dressing area useful for storing suitcases. Nicely cleaned and maintained. Free WiFi but not very quick and you need to login each time you go out of range of the router.......a bit of a pain but not disastrous. Nice sized outdoor swimming pool. Situated 2 or 3 kilometres down a small country road so not possible to walk to the local town. Hotel restaurant is good though. Staff pleasant and helpful.

We stayed here two nights, while visiting temples around Thanjaveer. The swimming pool is really nice and seating around the pool pleasant as well. The restaurant is outside, so no air conditioning, even though it is a really hot and humid place. There are fans. If you are afraid of bugs, you won't feel relaxed, although the hotel does everything to keep them away, but the location is by the river and everything here is humid.
The staff are very helpful and charming and the food is good. Do visit the gift shop, it has a good selection of quality items.
