Totally relaxing

We stayed here for three nights with two young children. First time to Elba. We loved the resort and rarely left. The beach and pool are great, and the resort and room we stayed in very quiet. There is a nice bar on the beach, and the resort restaurant is fine and reasonably priced. We wish we stayed longer.
Garden and sea

Before arriving I was expecting a typical Italian beach resort feeling from Innamorata.
I was wrong. This place was not only built on one of the coolest beaches of Elba but the style of the buildings is also well chosen.
There are small, 1 or 2-story, white buildings around in big, well cultivated gardens with lots of flowers, palm trees, cactuses, with enough place for sunbathing. There is a nice pool as well. Our apartment had sea view and it took about 50 seconds to get to the shore :O) The apartment itself is well-maintained, has a great terrace, a well-equipped kitchen, a private bathroom.
Staff is helpful, some of them speaks great English, another one speaks good German, so you won't loose yourself over there. There are restaurants on the beach, one shop right in the Villaggio. You can find more stuff like that if you start to drive towards Capoliveri.
This is a nice and good place for families as well; recommended.
Laid back family holiday

Had no idea what to expect but was delighted with our choice. Elba is beautiful, lots of windey roads along the coast. Innamorata is about an hour from the main ferry port of Portaferraria. The 'village' is all low rise apartments either just up from the beach or by the pool. We had a one bed beach apartment which had a beautiful view of the beach and rest of the island and it's own terrace area and shared roof terrace. Apartment was basic but fine for our needs.
Beach was beautiful, long sandy and not too busy, plenty of room. Lots of water sports bits to hire, including sun beds and brollys. Kids just spent all day down there. Beach bar with a good restaurant and evening entertainment in Italian. Another smarter restaurant at the other end of the beach.
Very relaxing holiday and Capoliveri is only 10 mins away by car for shopping, lots of restaurants and nightlife.
Very few English there, they told us only about 5 families a year but lots of Italian and German families.
Staff were helpful and some spoke English too.
Would love to go back, the family in the neighbouring apartment had been coming for 15 years!
One tip - book your ferry crossing as soon as you can, it gets very busy in August and expensive!
Wonderful island, Great location

A beautiful quiet resort at the end of the Capoliveri road in Elba.
This island is jam packed with Italians throughout the hotter parts of the year apparantly, and I can see why!
Really a hire car is very much needed for the island, and this 'hotel' has ample parking, although its cramped at times.
The place consists of self contained 'flatelets' with a small shop and reception area, theres a pizza place also attached.
Easy access to a clean sandy beach with gently sloping acess.
Lots of flowers and shrubs, palm trees.
Excellent staff with good English/German etc and a professional office.
The apartment consists of basic furniture, a 2 ring gas burner and fridge, TV and small shower/WC.
We paid 52 Euros a night which was very reasonable.
Theres a supermarket in Capoliveri which is well stocked at good prices (Coop) and the rest of the Island is well worth discovering: Porto Azzuro and Porto Ferrairo our favourites.
