We arrived late in the evening, but were greeted warmly, in the pretty courtyard, by Sofia. The room was a simple. clean, and comfortable ground unit - complete with kitchen and bathroom. Villa Spyros is located between the "main" road of Perissa and the beach (about a four minute walk). If taking public transportation, you can get off at second to the last stop (across from patio bar) - if you see a sign directing towards "Mama's Food" follow it. It next to the restaurant. If coming from the beach, turn inland at Aqua Blue Hotel.

On arrival at night Sofia was waiting with welcome drinks. Our room as requested was a roof terrace which was so beautiful with traditional blue door and bright pink flowers creating some shade on the terrace during the day. Sofia and her family were helpful welcoming and offered us traditional greek baking which was lovely and thoughtful. There are local amenities - supermarket very close by, beach is only a few minutes walk away, excellent bars and restaurants with delicious food at very reasonable prices. There is a bus service for the island which is easily accessible from these apartments. On our departure day we had a late flight and for no extra charge were offered a room to shower and change late afternoon. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday creating some very special memories and will definitely be returning to Santorini and to Villa Spyros.

Really nice and Helpful staff. Gave me a discount for a couple extra nights and helpful advice during my stay. 2 mins from the beach nice bars restaurants and easy access to the island bus service to go anywhere on the island. Excellent budget hotel in Santorini.

Very nice accommodation near the beach of Perissa on a calm street, location was perfect. The room is simple, but clean. It belongs to a very kind family which also have the restaurant next to it (which you MUST go, food is excellent and the price is more than fair), so if you need any help, you can always find someone answering your questions. If you want to visit the island, you will need a car since there is no direct bus in Perissa to go to Oia, but since the rooms are not expensive, you can affort both and explore the whole island easily! We will definitely come back someday!

The First impression of Villa Spyros is the beautiful entrance with pink flowers all over and rustic interior. We were greeted by the owner with a glass of limonade and got a clean and charming rom, with a little terrace. The rom had a little kitchen and equipment enough to make breakfast. The atmosphere is calm and friendly. No noise from streets or bars. Just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and supermarked. The staff were always helpful and I was realy impressed when I was asked if I needed another pillow? She had noticed, when cleaning, that i folded the pillow at night, so she thought I was used to have two. She was right :) Fantastic eye for details. When leaving we got a big hug. It ain't any luxury hotel when it comes to fancy facilities, the luxury is the atmosphere of beeing welcome.
