Wonderful room with a view. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Well done design and attention to detail. Felt so much at home. Modern design in a vintage building next door to an historic church with chiming bells - wonderful. Will definitely refer other family and friends.

We had one of the best vacations ever at Il Lavatoio!
This boutique hotel is located in the center of the town's historical district and surprisingly was quite easy to reach by car, with onsite parking.
The hotel is a blend of modern and historical styles with an overall cosmopolitan ambiance. It felt extremely comfortable.
The owners made us feel very welcome, as if we were staying with family for the week. They were very accommodating and friendly.
The breakfast buffet had a great selection and the locally produced items were outstanding, especially the fruit tarts! They were definitely worth going off diet.
After breakfast we moved to the rooftop terrace, via a spiral staircase, to continue enjoying our coffee while looking down onto the city and the surrounding mountains. The old village church, practically next door, added so much to the experience.
We loved Il Lavatoio so much that we already booked a return visit for this October.
We have stayed at other hotels in town but none matches the Il Lavatoio experience!

Already from the outside the place looks amazing. At the Reception, Sabrina, welcomed us warmly and showed us the room.
The interior design throughout is neat and stylish. the bed extremely comfortable. The bathroom spacious and the toiletries of outstanding quality. She recommended a great restaurant for dinner and the next day when we were late for breakfast she insisted we sit down and take something anyway as they were only just beginning to remove the buffet.
She made us a great cappuccino and there was a good selection of cakes, croissants, fruit, cold cuts and toast. We made ourselves fresh orange juice and left ..looking forward to going back there for longer!

The hotel was comfortable and warm with a great breakfast, but what was most outstanding was the personal service.
On a simple level, they were great for helping with directions to resturants and ski resorts, but they made a real difference, when I needed help on a couple of occasions;
I needed help with snow chains for the hire car, and it proved an to be an issue for me due to them being damaged, but the owners spent a considerable amount of time helping me take back the chains to the store to be repaired.
In addition, on our final day, we had significant problems getting to our car due to heavy snow fall. However, the team, went well beyond the call of duty to help us.
If I ever have the chance to go back to this part of Italy, I would definately want to stay at this hotel again!

This well situated hotel is situated near the church high in the village. First our car became stuck on a very steep slippery road to the hotel. Later we were directed to a good asphalt road. The nicely renovted building is situated on the location of the old village washing place, which is now integrated in the building. A friendly English speaking host and a perfect breakfast made it a fine stay.
