It's a choice we make every day to enjoy the beautiful hiking tours around but to get back into the hotel early enough to enjoy the 'nature brought inside' of this place starting from a wonderful breakfast to well selected organic dishes in the evening.' The spa area makes you want to stay dreaming, the biotop outside the lovely saunas is the icing of the facilities. We always have a lovely time there and are looking forward to our next stay.

If you are looking for excellent food and relaxation at its best - you are likely to stay at this hotel. It was our first but definetly not our last visit at the Bio Vitalhotel. Many thanks to the Tauber family.

This boutique hotel (about 20 rooms) has all the features if you would like to disconnect from the normal life and get your energy loaded again.
First thing to notice: it looks like a castle and I must say that we felt like king and queen for the entire stay.
Room: The rooms have no TV unless you ask for one and has no wifi in the rooms. Which is perfect if you like to read or play games. The bed is very comfortable and big.
Food: The food was one of the highlights of this place. Everything is biological and your body thanks you for that. All the products are local and very tasty.
SPA: The SPA is amazing. First you have a nice outside pool, which feels amazing when it's snowing outside. Then you can use the steambaths as well, very appreciated. But the highlight is outside: a big Finnish sauna with views on the outside moutains and a little icy lake where you can "refresh" yourself after the sauna. At first, you think you will die but after you try the first time, it s the most amazing feeling and you just continue to do it a few times.
Staff: Very friendly and professional. They know how you want your coffee after one day.
What I really appreciated as well was the wine. Everyday, on the menu, they recommend you one bottle of wine for your dinner. We tried all of them. The producer's name was Loacker, based in Bolzano. All the wines were amazing and biological. We went to Bolzano after our stay at Taubers and bought a few bottles directly from the cellar.
I think it's a really nice philosophy to involve all the local producers for the food and to encourage green hotels like this place. I will recommend it to anyone and hope to be back soon.

Even though Tauber's isn't a luxury hotel, I felt nothing was missing, starting from the organic food, the room, the SPA, the outdoor swimming pool, the small lake. The hotel has less than 30 rooms and the hosts are most from Northern Italy or Germany. It's close to Brunico, Bressanone and Campo Tures and it's a great place to go hiking or cycling

I've spent 5days holiday in mid July 2012 in this hotel, with my family and kids. What I found a bit unsuitable, was the fact that this hotel is not much friendly with small children; most hotel guests very older 'healthy lifestyle' fans and our kids made a bit noise and sometimes unappropriate 'mess' that might disturb western seniors, especially German ones :(
We did not take part in any weekly program that was in fact not even offered to us by owners or hotel staff... the communication between guests and staff was a bit of distance, to my surprise...But thanks to my Slovak expat lady that has been working there we felt comfortable and enjoyed any minute there, no matter how people looked at us.
Hotel itself was lovely simple, fursnihed as described on the website with pure natural wood, no electro-smog, etc. Food was excellent, organic, btw the only reason for why we've chosen this hotel. Spa quite simple, open swim pool, small lake with rainy water, sauna and some aromatherapy that we did not use as we organize short walking trips in surroundings as well as to nearest enchanting towns as Bressanone, Brunico, Bolzano..
Generally, I advise this hotel to people who look for relaxing and quiet holiday, in order to enjoy all the facilities and participate in heathy educative programs organized by the owner Mr. Gerhard Tauber.
