I rented a road bike from Carlo, the proprietor of the hotel and bike shop, for two weeks in late October. Excellent, professional, friendly service!! Great bike, great terrain! I’ve cycled several continents and this area around lake Como is unbelievably beautiful and challenging.
Carlo set me up with two guides from comolagobikes, Massimo and Luca, for a great, fun day’s ride. They were accommodating, congenial, experienced riders and took me on roads I may have had difficulty navigating/finding on my own. They get two thumbs up.
I’m looking forward to my next visit and would highly recommend them to cyclists of any level of expertise.

Amazing View

Truly spectacular view from our lake facing room. Hospitality from the family Sancassano and their staff was exceptional. It may be a 2 star hotel but definitely 5 star + service. Simple but great quality food and drink happily prepared for you on request with a good breakfast included.
The bike hire and shop was flawless and both bikes were set up perfect and waiting for us both days with great tips and info on the already famous and classic routes in the surrounding beautiful countryside freely available.
Will definitely be back at a warmer time of year so i can enjoy the stunning patio more and cycle with a few less layers on and a with few more beach bar stops included in my daily rides - can't wait to return.

A very beautiful B&B, even in november, very quiet and not so far from Bellagio downtown. Staff was extremely pleasant, the breakfast (both italian and continental) complete, the hand-made pies simply fabulous. Really reccommended.

Stayed for 2 nights here in this friendly family run hotel as a family of 4 in a family room which turned out to be a duplex in an annexe of the hotel. The space was huge and our boys (4&6) loved sleeping downstairs on their own, but it may not be suitable for younger families.

The room itself on first glance could probably be best described as rustic Italian, not modern but absolutely no issues with cleanliness and added a certain charm. I could go on for hours about the view from the room, just stunning.

Breakfast ticked all the boxes, the only thing was it was at the back of the hotel, which doesn’t show of the beautiful views. Maybe in summer you can take breakfast out on the patio, it was October and chilly in the morning.

We ate in the hotel one night, very tasty, simple Italian fare, reasonably priced as well.

This is a cycling hotel situated in one of the regions most famous climbs, unfortunately I didn’t get out this time but I really hope to be back in the near future and would certainly make this hotel my base.

Top place for cycling
