I absolutely loved my stay here. Dave and Amanda are so friendly and welcoming, even popping a glass of wine in your hand as you arrive! They are a wealth of knowledge on the area and it's defiantly worth sitting and having a chat about the possibilities to explore in Swellendam and further afield!
The rooms are spacious, inviting and comfortable! I love the themes!
Breakfast is really yummy and the view from the deck is stunning, especially with the many birds that visit.
It's quick and easy to get into town to explore.I returned to Impangele a couple of times and I look forward to the next.

We had the luck to spend a night in the house with dave and Amnada. Courage to change your life and move from England to this wonderful place is the best description of the couple! The rooms are special for the decoration that Amanda put with much coherence. We were in the leopard room with a lot of details which amused us us very much! The brekfast ids very good served on the terrasse.
Highly recomendable.

The accommodation is a old and tired and needs updating. The pool is not very good and the TV only had local channels, saying that the host tried to make us comfortable with a couple of free bottles of wine, thank you!

Dave & Amanda were really welcoming. Their B&B is a bit quirky but our friends and us really liked it..... especially the free wine. Fantastic setting for breakfast - on the patio and a real treat if you are a bird watcher, fascinating to see so many different birds. the breakfast was very well organised and lovely. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

We booked to stay for 6 nights, and we were settled in the Leopard Room. We opted for B&B but self-catering for the rest of the stay. Dave & Amanda provided a friendly welcome and a very flexible attitude to using the cooking facilities in their kitchen outside breakfast times.
We washed up our dishes and cookware, although they said to leave it.
The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. There's a micro-wave, kettle and tea/coffee making stuff and a fridge in the room. They provide free wine and an honesty bar. The verandahs provide sun or shade depending on the time of day. Breakfast is always outside unless it's raining. The seating looks out over the garden; an oasis of calm unless you're a sunbird, in which case it's constant activity. We noted at least 10 different birds commonly visiting the bird feeders.
Dave & Amanda are a mine of local information and they will book you into restaurants if you ask them nicely. I would recommend 'Koornlands' for sensible portions of excellent quality African game meats.
The guest house is showing its age but it is kept clean and everything works including the free wifi. Each room supplies plenty of African plug socket adaptors.
Well positioned in the town. There are no bars around the windows which will give some indication of the risk of crime in Swellendam.
We really enjoyed our stay.
