Good but not great

Had been to this resort recently with family. Yercaud is a small town with nothing much to explore unlike Kodaikanal or Ooty. The resort is good but it's too old that you would rats and mosquitoes often in your room. Resort experience got spoiled due to the same. It's very close to the lake which is in the centre of Yercaud.
Nice stay!

Usually, we prefer to stay at holiday homes than resorts for our holidays. The reason is the silence the holiday homes offer over resorts. Of course, exceptions are always there. We felt this silence in this resort. We liked it. Though the resort is not reasonably away from Yercaud town, the place was calm. Rooms were built amidst coffee plants, with out disturbing much of the nature. This is definitely a plus. My ratings are as below:
Location: 4.5/5
Room cleanliness: 4/5 (The room could have smelled better).
Room service: 3/5 (Slow and costly)
In room amenities: 4.5/5
Over all property cleanliness: 4.5/5
Other amenities: 4/5
Staff: 4.5/5
Food: 4.5/5
Value for money: 4.5/5
Breakfast was complementary. We were offered lunch and dinner buffet combo package, which was a good deal and the items offered were totally worth the cost and the they were tasty as well. Not all will like the old styled rooms/buildings. The buildings were constructed using minimal materials that were of less cost.
Overall, our stay experience was good and we recommend this place to others.
Avoid littering the place and enjoy responsibly!
Serene, peaceful, laidback

There are 2 types of people in this world. One who like city and one who don't. So firstly those who like cities can skip this place and this review because its not for you and you will not enjoy this place. Now if you don't like cities and further if you like mountains, if lazing around is your holiday style, if you are a nature lover, then this is the place for you. Its a resort near the hustle and bustle of the famous Yercaud lake yet its far away and near the nature to be peaceful and serene. The view from the rooms are to die for overlooking forest, big trees and greenery all along. The staff was courteous and helpful. The evening set up deserves a special mention where they serve wood fired pizza and screen open air movie and light up a bonfire. What else could you look for in a perfect holiday :-). Why I gave them a 4 star vs a 5 star is what makes a 5 star is really the linen they put to use. The resort really needs to refresh all linen in rooms and put in a extra bit of more cleanliness and then it would definitely deserve that 5 star rating.
British Era Stay Wonderful Experience

Mr. Philip the Club Mahindra representative at the Resort is very friendly & accommodative. He had been able to handle my last minute changes in the plan and making my stay Memorable. My stay would have not been this wonderful if not for Mr. Philip.
The Studio rooms are like British Era styled and very different from the usual modern style Club Mahindra rooms. Very close to nature. The staff are also very friendly and show good respect for the guests.
STAY AT LUSH GREEN RESORT

Entire construction is not of heritage. Present rooms/studio/suite are built in some where ten years back. They have tried to built as heritage construction and in a way it is successful. Do not expect modern construction at this resort. One can enjoy the forest stay at this resort.Simply awesome. Suites/studio rooms are specious and can accommodate six guests.Service/front desk/courtesy all are exceptional.Food is priced at reasonable rate and one need not try it at out side eateries.Tasty food. Opt for choice of dishes instead of buffet. No alcohol. Yercaud lake is at walk-able distance.
DRAW BACKS: Toilet room flaps are dusty.Front doors require repair as not to allow wild insects inside.
