Best part was heated bathroom floor

Our room was on the ground (main) floor of this 2 story building just a short ways out of town. Our room faced front and we had a view of the parking lot. We were just a few doors down from the lobby entrance. The bed was comfortable and the headboard looked new but the rest of the room was outfitted with furniture that did not match but that was OK because it still looked decent, functioned well and was not a problem. We had one door off the room that went directly to the hall that leads to the lobby and another door that went out of the room to the front parking lot.
When we checked-in we were told that the hotel had been recently renovated. Although our room had been somewhat 'updated', I would not say it had been thoroughly renovated. The shower door was the type that covers just half the shower area and leaves one feeling a little exposed to the rest of the bathroom (sink and toilet). The bathroom floor was tile and in my bare feet, I could feel the heat radiating upward. That was a very pleasant feeling on a cool day. The shower head was the type that is handheld or hangs above hands-free. In our room, it apparently had broken and the replacement did not match and would not allow us to hang it above in the shower hands-free. Something that surely should be fixed.
There were 3 sinks in the room. One next to the toilet, one just outside the bathroom door next to the coffee maker and mini frig (under counter) and one just 2 steps away from the second one near the sofa in the bedroom. That seemed a bit overkill and I'm not at all sure how necessary. The room lacked sufficient lighting and made it feel too dark. The room appeared to be sufficiently clean.
The coffee maker in the room made a dreadfully strong cup of coffee so fortunately, we were not very far from the lobby where they had some decent coffee for free.
The first night we ate dinner at their bar/restaurant just off the lobby. We had the BBQ pork and several different sauces sat on the table but only had a flavor we even halfway cared for. But the pulled pork meat was tender and had a decent flavor. The server was attentive enough. The next morning we ate breakfast at the same location and it was awful. We asked for the eggs over medium and they came out well overcooked, fried dry. After we finally got the servers attention, we sent the eggs back and when they came out the second time half the white was fried crisp and the other half of the white was runny. The yolk was runnier than it should have been, more like over easy or worse. But we ate it because the server was nowhere to be found and we did not want to fool with the whole thing again.
The Inn has a free shuttle to take you into town but we drove. We went to a market in town and it was very difficult to get a place to park. The whole town seemed to be filled with cars and people.
Quite nice

In town for John Denver Celebration so this was off season. Very comfortable bed, quiet (even after middle school hockey team arrived!). Shuttle was a bonus. The hotel restaurant was convenient after a long day in town. Would definitely stay here again.
Dirty and Forget Breakfast

We stayed in a "studio suite" and the countertop at the small kitchenette was covered in a layer of dust and the carpet was dirty. The hotel is really dated, which doesn't usually bother me as long as it is clean. I didn't look closely at the rest of the room because we mainly just slept there. I will say that the bed and pillows were comfortable. The hotel has a restaurant that we were told served breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We were short on time and the wait for breakfast at other restaurants in Aspen was quite long, so we decided to have breakfast at the hotel on Sunday morning, our last day there. All that was offered was a pre-made breakfast burrito or a yogurt parfait. They said it was because it is the off-season. They should just not offer breakfast if this is all it was. We spent over $40 for food that we probably could have gotten at a convenience store.
Beautiful location and great staff

Husband and I just came back from a trip to Aspen and cant say how happy we are that we chose this hotel for our stay. Not only is the hotel at a beautiful location but is also convenient to nearby shops and restaurants. They also have a shuttle service to Aspen, which we did not use but we should have because parking can be tough in Aspen. The room was sufficiently big and also had a little kitchenette which i was happy to discover since it was not mentioned. The view from the room was beautiful and the parking was very near to the room, which was convenient. They even kept a humidifier because it can get dry because of the heater. We could also see the ski lifts from our room so this must be a great place to stay if you planning to go to Aspen for the snow season. The staff was very friendly, warm and accommodating. We were anticipating a change in plan and they agreed to extend our stay at the same tariff. We asked for a late checkout and they happily agreed to that too.Overall, if i visit Aspen again,Im totally staying here.
Nice place to get caught in a snowstorm

The high point of our trip was the drive between Colorado Springs and Aspen through the mountains. This was a very nice place to stop with very comfortable beds. The bathrooms are too small and we didn't care for the pocket door much but it was a nice stay anyway.
