From the warmth of the people who run this lovely intimate hotel, to the stylish, artistic, ultra comfortable decor, to the spa tub with a view of the ocean and gas fireplace, to the evening pie and 24 hour community chill space, this is my new favorite destination on the central coast. I will travel this way again and again, just so I can stay at the Inn at Avila Beach. What a lucky find!

This hotel was by far one of the best parts of our weekend. Definitely consider booking a room with a view, it's worth it!! (We had originally booked one of the spa rooms- which also looked amazing- but after seeing the views knew we needed to upgrade! Thankfully it is fall and they had availability)
On top of the gorgeous view they have a delicious breakfast/ coffee and afternoon beer/snacks (pizza, chips, salsa) all on a gorgeous sun deck. So even if you can't get one of the rooms with the view, you can hang out up there and take in the gorgeous view! None of the other beach front hotels looked like they had a rooftop or rooms with this kind of view.
Will definitely be back, thanks to the nicest owners!

Edward at the front desk was awesome. All staff members and the owner were friendly. The hotel is older but renovations are being made. Pay up and get a room with a view! Coffee house, breakfast on roof top, happy hour beer, chips, salsa and pizza, and warm homemade pie in the evening are all included. Great weekend! 4 thumbs up!

If you like a nice Holiday Inn type hotel this may not be the place for you. But, if you like a place with a view to the Pacific and can enjoy a place with a funky flair then you will love this hotel. Coffee provided in the morning is nice, happy hour on the top floor balcony is terrific, and a selection of really delicious fresh baked pies in the evening - all included -
makes this a great place to stay.

Loved this hotel. Room was unique inside. We had a king bed with a bonus day bed which my daughter loved to hang out on. Little window view of the ocean which if you leave the window open you can hear the waves all night. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Hotel stacked with bottle water, fruit, snacks. Wonderful breakfast included on the sun deck. What a way to start the day with a nice latte and scone. We used their complementary beach cruisers to check out the little down town. Upon arrival to our room there was a bag we could use to carry our stuff to the beach with some snacks. After dinner they had a wonderful selection of local homemade pies to try with vanilla ice cream. We had a great time. Will come back
