Stayed here for a couple nights to get away from Vancouver and loved this property. Was immediately greeted by the friendly concierge upon arriving! Had a room located in the Erikson Wing (which I recommend). The room was spacious, especially the bathroom and the room itself had a sliding door that opens to their Japanese Gardens and harbour view. This is also just a short walk over to downtown! I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it.

The moment you walk through the door everyone tries to make your stay pleasant. The staff were very friendly yet professional. I really liked that they had dog friendly rooms and each time an owner checks out the room is deep cleaned. (Although I would like to know for future stays what is "deep cleaned"?

This is your average high end hotel. Good service, very nice view, classic hotel interior. Located nicely at the waterfront with short walking distance to down town. Restaurant offered nice food as well.

I once lived in Victoria and had long wanted to stay at the Laurel Point, often walking by since it was near my house. And in late October, after an absence of over a decade, I finally did, staying two nights. And it was everything I hoped it would be.
I had reserved a room with no view for a reasonable off-season rate, but upon arriving, I paid $40 CN extra and got one with a spectacular water view, well worth it. The restaurant, where I had breakfast twice, was excellent, and the staff really first rate.
The fellow who helped me with my luggage showed me around when I mentioned my interest in the hotel's history and extensive Japanese art collection, and I was totally knocked out by the objets d'art on display - quite a treat. The parking was reasonably priced and adjacent to the hotel, very convenient. I can't think of anything to criticize, and recommend the Inn unreservedly.
Normally, I restrain myself from awarding five stars for anything. (Take a look at my profile: 115 reviews and five of them are five-star.) But I'm letting myself go crazy here with five.

We only stayed one night but wish we could of easily stayed longer. Excellent position
Excellent view The staff where very accomodating.Our view was amazing overlooking the harbour. Thank you BC ferries for recomending this hotel
