I've always been a fan of FLW architecture and have been meaning to stay at this hotel for years. It is a beautiful building and the rooms were fantastic. We stayed in one of the suites which was on 2 levels, with 2 bathrooms. It would be a perfect place to have a small 60s-inspired cocktail party. In fact we booked the larger suite for next year. The Copper Bar was very small, but really cozy. We sat at the bar, and standing next to us was the harmonica player of the band booked for the evening. We loved every minute and can't wait to go back!

The room was a nice size. The elevators were small, but ran regularly. The restaurant was quirky, being in three rooms. The food was decent. It was nice to have some views of the city around. I liked going out to the upper outdoor deck and looking out and seeing the Frank Lloyd design closer up from the top.
The breakfast was decent. My major complaint was that their needed to be a second sterno where the bacon, eggs, and french toast were. The french toast was cool because it was not directly under the sterno, although still tasty. Also, it would have been nice to also have eggs. But again, it was nice to have it available in the morning and it was good.
We had a younger child so we did not partake on the tour. We did check out the art museum which was nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay in a cool quirky place.

Why stay at a chain hotel, when you can stay in a historic landmark?
This was our second time to visit. Elevators are small and odd, but rooms are generous in size, comfortable beds and decor has a unique Frank Lloyd Wright twist. I'd recommend the experience. Breakfast is offered in room rate and is adequate. Room is not like most chain motel rooms but that is to be expected. I recommend giving it a try!

We went to Bartlesville for a weekend birthday trip. We stayed at PriceTower because we admire Frank Lloyd Wright’s architecture and we had always wanted to stay there. We stayed in a room with a king sized bed and the room’s furnishings were unique. But, I was very disappointed in the overall lack of cleanliness and “run-down” feel to the hotel. It needs a good scrubbing from top to bottom. The tile grout in the bathroom is dirty and the windows in the room are filthy. Its been awhile since they’ve seen Windex, if ever. Even the outside entry is dirty and run down. The rooms are very small. I don’t think a large person could fit in the shower or maybe not even through the bathroom door. The elevators are just large enough for 2 people and a suitcase. The evening clerk was ok but not really helpful. When asked for a restaurant recommendation, he acted perplexed as if he had never been asked that before. I’m glad I finally got to stay at the PriceTower but would not go back nor would I recommend it. It’s way over-priced and definitely not a “luxury” hotel as advertised.

Check another item off of the bucket list! Be sure to schedule your visit to include a tour of the property. The tour gives all of the details of the history of Price Tower. Lunch at the Copper Restaurant & Bar was wonderful and very reasonably priced. I would have like to have tried every item on the menu! Evening drinks at the bar while overlooking the skyline was very nice. And then the room - oh my gosh - it was everything we wanted and more! The entire experience was ideal!
