Probably one of the better places to stay in Granby
a_sutherson 05/10/2017 22:11Booked last minute for 1 night stay. Big complex with swimming pool, hot tubs, bar, restaurant. Room was pretty big, pull down bed (from out of wall), kitchenette .... Next door to supermarket. It has everything you need, little outdated in places but perfectly fine. Would say it's a 3 Star, may have been higher 'back in the days' .... friendly helpful staff. Ate in the restaurant, which was ok - I'd say go out if you want a 'lovely' meal. Used the pool and hot tubs outside, very nice. Overall I'd recommend and go again.
Dated but doable
Corinne Mon 27/09/2017 04:45SilverCreek is probably the best of the limited lodging options in Granby. We recently stayed here when my daughter competed in a bike race at Granby Ranch; the town of Granby has very limited options, so it's either SilverCreek or driving to Fraser or Winter Park. All in all, it's fine. Our room was very clean and quiet and the beds were comfortable. As other reviewers have commented, the place has a bit of an odd feel to it; a bit deserted and partially inhabited by long-term residents. It's also expensive for what is on offer. But all in all, this was better than the slightly seedy motel in Granby where we've stayed in the past.

HopTraveleron 11/09/2017 17:07Stayed here for two nights visiting family. Not a lot to say. It definitely could be better. Place is dated and you can Tell. Overall though It wasn't the worst place, but a little pricey for what you get.

jokiehahaon 05/09/2017 01:07It's older, but it's clean!! It has a nice pool and four hot tubs that worked perfectly! We had several rooms booked due to the size of our family. Some rooms were newly remodeled and some were not. Regardless, all the rooms were clean, and stocked with extra blankets & pillows. Each room had a TV, blow dryer, iron, ironing board, & the kitchen appliances were clean & in working order. The Inn is HUGE, so remodeling all the rooms will definitely take some time, but it does appear they are working on it. There are permanent residents living there, but we didn't see or experience any issues with them. The staff was courteous & ask if we were happy with our room. There is no air-conditioning, but fans were available.. and as the nights were cool it wasn't a huge issue. All in all, we felt safe & we enjoyed our stay.

Nelson0912on 25/08/2017 05:14The location of the property and nearness to outdoor activities and other amenities was the desirable aspect of our stay. The quality of the property is definitely aged and did not appear updated at all. The rooms were not very clean, did not give a comfortable feeling to take your shoes off when inside. The Wi-Fi is virtually nonexistent, and the front desk said they couldn't do anything about it. Outside back doors claimed to require key card access but they did not, so security was not quite a high priority. It could definitely benefit from some major updating.
