We’ve just spent a weekend at The Inn at Wawanissee Point and are already looking forward to our next visit. The inn itself is beautiful and meticulously maintained. The rooms are warm and welcoming with stunning views. Dave and Trudy hosted wine and cheese hours Friday and Saturday afternoons, giving guests an opportunity to meet and to get tips on restaurants, attractions, etc. They had menus from several restaurants handy for browsing and offered to call for our reservations when we’d made our choices. Dave was such a helpful host; handing out copies of his hand-drawn map giving easy directions to many attractions or offering tips on hiking around the property. And we can’t say enough about Trudy’s breakfasts! The entrees and baked goods were scrumptious, all using fresh ingredients. The countryside was gorgeous, and our hosts made sure we were well taken care of. Thank you, Trudy and Dave!

Attended a wedding and reception at the Inn, the grounds and views were absolutely breathtaking. Would love to come back for the fall color. It's a perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway (or longer!) The food was great and Innkeeper Dave was great, he was very friendly and helpful to all the guests. Hope to return soon!

I won't be able to adequately describe how wonderful this place is--but I'll give it a shot. Hubby and I escaped our young child for an "adult" getaway. The Inn at Wawanissee Point was the perfect place. Classy, yet rustic; secluded but not too far from fun things to do. The views are unquestionably gorgeous, mesmerizing.
We had never done a B&B and we're unsure how that kind of experience would be. Flawless. Dave & Trudy are fantastic! Extremely friendly and engaging without being overbearing. We were spoiled.
I did a ton of research on what to do and where to eat. Completely unnecessary. Dave & Trudy had recommendations and sample menus for everything! Just tell them what you're interested in---better than any concierge I've used. All their advice and suggestions were spot on.
Finally the accommodations were lovely. We stayed in the Boudeaux room. It was huge! With a huge tub to match. Well appointed with romantic touches. We loved it...did I mention there's a hot tub outside?
Breakfast was always hearty and yummy. We had great weather and ate in the fresh country air overlooking the lake in the company of hummingbirds. Beyond idyllic.
We live on the East Coast but are already planning when to return.

We only had one day for a 'vacay' and I couldn't imagine spending it anywhere else. The grounds are magnificent, the innkeepers are phenomenal, food is great and LOVED the wine and cheese tasting. The inn is one of the finest B&B's we've ever stayed in - and we travel a lot. The attention to detail in every aspect of the inn is readily apparent....luxury and quality accommodations throughout...it will take your breath away and the view...nothing short of magnificent. Can't wait to return!!!

The Inn at Wawainssee Point was a great stop on our annual convertible trip.
We have been doing this for over 15 years and this was probably our best B&B.
Dave and Trudy are great hosts. The home, property and view are indescribable. You would have to go there to experience the top-notch hospitality they offer.
