Last minute booking as travelling back to UK through France.
Reception Staff on arrival very helpful and spoke good English.
Liked the location very much and would recommend to anyone visiting Arcachon.

Good location between the town and Teste for oysters. Hotel was clean and tidy. Decent value.
I chose the room with sea view and had great views of the bay. Parking was easy and on site with the hotel having its own car park.

The room was small, the bed was only 160 cm wide, minimal comfort in room (no armchairs), W.C. and shower room were small. It was nice to have a balcony and a sea view. Parking was tight if you have a large car/4x4. Breakfast was not worth the price paid and offered an even smaller selection than most French hotels. Parking was charged as an extra and only accommodates a very limited number of cars which could be a significant problem during the summer months with only payable parking available locally. Not an ideal location for a large selection of restaurants but convenient to the port and beaches.

We spent three nights in this hotel in a room with a small balcony overlooking the harbour. We were on a motorcycle tour. Our bike was secured in a locked garage which was very important for us at a cost of 10 euros per night. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts and a beer in the hotel after a wander round the harbour one evening. The staff were all very helpful and that enabled us to use the local electric bus and find the railway station.

On first impressions the hotel is a little soulless and sterile but it is spotlessly clean and the standard of housekeeping was as good as I have experienced in much more expensive hotels. The person who serviced the room tidied up the items we had left on the dressing table and made sure the shutter was down to keep the room cool - you really felt they cared! We didn't have breakfast and it looked rather lean, but there are a number of excellent patisseries in the town. It is about a 20-25 minute walk to the town centre, which suited us as we needed the exercise, but it might be a bit much for travellers with mobility issues. For 365 euro for two people for 3 nights we thought this hotel was reasonably priced. Good air conditioning.
