Ok, it looks a bit dodgy from the front and their receptionist was off sick so the start wasnt brilliant..... !! However, the rooms were great, clean with really comfy beds, tv's that worked and good strong showers. The piece de resistance of this place is the garden. It has swings, a fishpond, a climbing rope and dog mess free grass to roll around in. We didnt try the food as we were out and about most of the time but it looked pretty good.
Our rooms were on the first floor along an outside open air corridor. We had a triple for the kids and a double for us next door to each other. I can imagine it would get frustrating for people if the hotel was full as the doors tended to slam if not held open with something. The view from the outside corridor was over the parking space and general dumping area. It didnt look very good but they had filled the corridor with planters full of gorgeous flowers so they did they best they could ! Views from the rooms were over the gardens, peaceful due to the huge ivy covered wall that surrounded it. A complete suntrap. The windows also had wind down shutters with little holes in so that you could leave your windows open when you went out or at night and still have security and ventilation. A Godsend on the boiling hot days we had there.
I lost my handbag on holiday and the hotel have been really good at replying to my email and checking the rooms and garden area. Brilliant.

We wanted a break on the journey up to the tunnel from the Dordogne and the Family room we had here was really excellent. Clean and good matress (after 2 weeks of hell!) ideal little courtyard garden. Had a good breakfast in the hotel but cannot comment on the restaurant as ate out in the town. Overall it was good value and happy with the experience

We stayed 1 night on the drive between the midi Pyrenees and Calais and this was a perfect stay for us with 2 young children. We had a family room opening right onto the lovely garden so we could sit out after the children had gone to bed. We didnt eat in the restaurant as there are plenty of great eateries in Beaugency and we wanted to explore the town. The breakfast was lovely and our whole stay was great value for money. We'd definitely stay here again.
