Great location , friendly staff, good food in the breakfast, good price and service , the worst thing in this hotel is the parking very tight plus you can not enter the parking until you go to the reception and get permission even you had confirmed booking which may put you in risk to take fine due to parking outside the hotel

I had a preservation by phone and the reception stated that to have 2 triple room with shared door to accommodate 6 members, but unfortunately there weren’t like that and said this is the available now

Only 1 receptionist in reception.
Hotel lobby is small, narrow, old furniture and tattered.
Room furniture is very old, Cleaning standards are low.
Street noise is inside the room, hard to sleep
Pillows were disasters

I stayed at Dar Al Hijra Intercontinental in May for 11 days ten nights. An excellent choice. It is in pretty close proximity to the Masjid Al Nabawi and Haram shopping complexes and malls. The hotel is not exactly true to being an Intercontinental hotel brand, however is still not less than being similar to a warm Holiday Inn. The housekeeping and concierge department is excellent. Mr. Abdul Hameed Moinuddin the chief concierge is always up and smiling to help you and cater to your needs. The suite I stayed in was clean and almost like a studio apartment with one bathroom and one powder room. A clean kitchen and a big bedroom with office facilities, attached with a dinning and family sitting lounge. The staff is cooperative and the breakfast good with decent variety. All in all, value for money. Definitely, going to stay again here!

· Staff was friendly and helpful.
. The room and washroom were spacious, neat and clean, with all the required facilities and High-Quality Decor.
. Bed size was good.
. We could easily make the room dark enough, to sleep in the daytime.
. AC was good
. Room service was very good
. Car Parking was big, spacious and access was easy.
. Location was close to Masjid e Nabvi

· I would like to stay here again
Negatives:
· Lifts were either not enough or not well managed, were too crowded thus I had to take stairs most of the time
. They changed the keys of the rooms every evening without informing us, after waiting for the lift to reach the room or taking the stairs to reach the room, we use to find out that the keys have been changed and we have to get new keys from the reception.
