stayed here for 5 nights and it was most enjoyable. Excellent reception Staff - staff overall were excellent.
Room was very good and comfortable except as always for us "retirees" , the shower in the bathtub is a pain and no decent hand rails to hold on in trying to get in and out....
Breakfast was excellent and most enjoyable - some of the chairs could do with some TLC - upholstering...

As my wife is an IHG rewards member, we often stays at IHG hotels. Intercon Lisbon was great. The location is about 30min (depending on traffic from the airport - for less than 15 EUR with Uber). It is well situated as you are on the top of a hill and right next to Eduardo VII's park and at the top of Av. da Liberdade. If you want to take a hop on/hop off bus, it is a 5 min walking from the hotel to their #1 stop (you can buy ticket at the hotel to avoid queuing. The service at the hotel is excellent. It was our honeymoon and they brought a dessert with champagne. Their breakfast is well served with a great selection of sweet and salty food. The room was spacious and clean. The staff informed us of some renovation work, but we barely heard anything. All the staff we had interaction with was friendly and professional. Great stay! Thank you

One of the best five star hotels in Lisbon at affordable price. Fullly air-conditioned & spacious room, reasonable upgrade to executive room and most of all located in a very quiet area by the huge park. Excellent set of coffee,tea selection with kettle in every room and a free bottle of mineral water provided everryday. Liked the clean, spacious bath room and wide choice of amenity kit. Walking distance from Parque tube station or stroll to the city centre by foot. First class service from reception to the porter and room service.

Had an excellent stay over 3 days. With Ambassador status we were given an executive suite to accommodate our family (2 young children) which was beautiful and absolutely enormous. The club room was outstanding and all food and drink was very high quality. What really marked this hotel out was the excellent service. All staff were extremely welcoming and attentive without being awkward.
Nice location and good breakfast. Hope to return.

After carefully researching hotels in Lisbon, we decided for this one because it looked modern, and clean compared to other hotels in the area. When we arrived, we were given our room only to be shocked at the dirty carpet and dirty furniture, we could not think straight just to think we would be sleeping in there. We called the reception and they sent someone to look at the furniture, so they changed a chair for another one, that was not ideal, but in their minds, it was clean. We could not understand what they were saying, they spoke only Portuguese and hardly any english, these were the maids and apparently their housecleaning manager who was really worried we were not pleased.
then she sent another maid with one very small towel that looked like the ones they put in bathrooms to "clean" the carpet, mind you, the carpet is in desperate need of being ripped out it is so disgusting to look at.
Since nothing was done, we went to dinner, and when we came back we were moved to another room. They upgraded us to a suite. In their minds it was better, but the carpet was very dirty as well. It was a bigger room, but not comfortable at all. The shower was no bigger then 2 ft by 2ft and we had to open the door to the inside of the shower, and then we had to figure out how to close it with one person inside.
But it had a tub!!!
Nothing made sense.
I would not recommend anybody staying here, although most of the people were helpful, there was one behind the front desk who just out flatly refused to help us with reservations, he said he didn't know of that particular restaurant, we were showing him the web page, but since the concierge was very busy, that is why we asked him, he was just not willing to help, very annoying. I don't think we were even given the room we requested for in the first place.
It is a hotel for conventions, not tourists. Either management doesn't care to be clean, or this is the way they are. Look for a cleaner place, there is no excuse for being dirty.
