I love the location and that's about it. The property itself is huge. Being that we had big heavy suitcases, it took us a while to walk from the front desk to our room. Given that the property is that big, they should have a golf card to accommodate those that have rooms further away. However, I view this place as discount lodging so I guess you get what you pay for. From the outside, it looked nice. The inside of the room was a decent size but we were given two full size beds. I requested a room with a king bed. I didn't make a big deal about it because we were only there for the evening. The room was clean. The hotel is an older property that could use some more renovation. Renovation has been done but the bathroom is still in dire need of upgrading. I had to hold the handle to flush the toilet. The water in the shower drained very slowly. Also if a person is in the shower and someone else flush the toilet or use the sink, the person in the shower will get a cold or hot burst of water. As previously stated, there were two full size beds in the room. The beds were not comfortable. The room was not quiet. I could hear the occupants in the room next door. When entering and exiting the room, the door didn't quite close all of the way so I had to slam it shut. The food at Mambos is not that great and the drinks are weak. Last but not least, I'm wondering what kind of security is on the premises because someone was outside yelling expletives at 2am. This went on for a while. Again, we were only there for the night. We had a cruise to take the next day. I guess for the price of $82 for the night, I should not have had such high expectations. The only saving grace is that the property is right on the beach.

My 2 young sons, my husband and i stayed here when we came down to attend my cousins wedding. The staff are great! Patty and camilla took great care of us at the Breakfast Spot. This is not a place you want to stay if you are looking for a quiet beach getaway. Lots going on but didnt seem unsafe. My kids had the absolute time of their lives. There is sooo much for kids to love at this hotel from the arcade to the beach. They loved the kids pirate swimming pool. Our room was very old and basic and smelled like cats. I took my concerns to one of their sales reps and they comped us an extra night. They also informed us that they were in the middle of renovating when the hurricanes hit and had to put it on hold because there are now so many hurricane victims living there. They told us dogs were allowed so we brought our dogs and it was good because the dog park is literally right next door to this hotel. I would stay here again but request an already renovated room.

I️ ran the Coco Beach Half Marathon and this resort is right next to the bus pick up and a hop skip and a jump away from the finish line, I️ booked an ocean view, and it was amazing until the sun set and well it was sort of pointless because you could not see anything. The room was spacious with warm tones the only issue for me was there was a door mat or weather stripping to keep the sand from under the door. You couldn’t brush your shoes off on anything.
Great staff very friend and willing to asset there guest.

We booked an ocean view room but when we got there the room was a distance from the ocean and we could barely see over the hedge. There were lots of tables and chairs set up right outside our room where they were going to have a party that night. We ask for, and got, a room away from the potentially noisy party. The room was adequate but so old, Wallpaper was peeling off the walls, empty picture hangers on walls. This place needs a major renovation. It did have a microwave and fridge. Electricity was only available in about half the plug-in's. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you are strapped for cash and can overlook the worn out look.

We had booked for two nights. We checked in and went to our room. We promptly checked out. Expedia sorted out a full refund.
The place is very tired inside and out.
I was there with my children and I did not feel safe. The room itself had broken window locks, so anyone from outside could just slide them open. The bath had some undesirable stains and looked like someone had attempted painting it at some point. The grout was dirty. The curtains had a variety of stains on. I couldn’t bring myself to check the mattress. Hinges were rusty. Floor inside the closet with the air handler was filthy. Kitchen was poorly stocked: 1 spoon, 2 cups, 3 bowls... room was painted is weird shades of green and brown that added to the awfulness.
There are so many places to stay on this stretch on beach, avoid this one.
