We had the displeasure of booking a room here only to find out it was nothing like the description on the app we used. After a long, long drive and our local taxi driver calling them three times, we finally arrived at this dump. We told the receptionist that we only wanted to pay for one night because this is not what it looked like on the app and is not walking distance from anywhere and is not located where the map says it is. He got argumentative and told us we just wanted to hurt his feelings. This is incredibly unprofessional and as a customer, I want to get what I am paying for. We were unable to even get WiFi to change our booking until we paid, so basically we were blackmailed into staying. We finally cancelled our booking but he has taken no action to try and help the customers. The third party we booked through has contact him four times to get this resolved to no avail because according to him we never stayed there, yet when our credit card company contact him, we stayed the whole time and loved it! They made the experience incredibly uncomfortable and hostile. I also know that I am not the only one with this exact same experience because I have since read numerous reviews detailing the same thing we are going through. Do not waste your time or money here. There are much nicer places that are actually walking distance to town and are located where the map says they are. Those places also know how customer service works and you won't feel like you are in a Wrong Turn movie.

After completing the longest 5k drive ever, you ascend the hill to the entrance. As we are a somewhat large family and the villas were booked we had 3 rooms,each fitting the needs of all he occupants. Pool time quickly followed with happy hour hot on its heels. The staff was warm and welcoming, the dinner was excellent, even for our vegetarian and picky youngsters. I highly recommend staying here. With proximity to the beach and the sloth sanctuary it provides a calm respite.

Don Arnoldo, the owner is a very special and kind person. The rooms are ok and the lot is huge and beautiful. Its a family place with a very nice poll for everyone and everything. It has it own bar and parking. Also a SPA tha anyone would like and love. The SPA is enormous and with all the services you need.

This resort has everything you need to have a good time in couple, friends, family or why not being alone....
I stayed at Inti Resort with my girlfriend and our friends and we really enjoy the attention we received from the owners...
The hotel has a very nice villas in there with bbq and its big pool can be a great place for sharing with the nature.
food quality is first class quality
The road from Cahuita village is around 7 miles and is not good so I recommend a 4WD car... the trail has an introduction about the nature contact and peace you are gonna breath at Inti Resort.

My wife and 2 friend stayed 2 nights. It was wonderful. Calm, beautiful, friendly staff, and great pool. The owner Arnaldo, was graciously accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were nice with AC and ceiling fans, and in room bathrooms. The dining room was clean and well appointed. Just a short drive to the beach and other bars and restaurants, but the staff and surrounding beauty made you want to stay and relax. Try to arrive during the daylight hours because Google maps has its placement wrong.
