Very attractive modern hotel with Muslim influenced architectural details. A patio in the center offers a comfortable place to sit and have a glass of wine amid the fountains and plants. Reasonably priced rooms, food and drinks. Pleasant, helpful staff. Our room had a private balcony overlooking the grounds and pool. Consuegra with its windmills and castle, is about 30 minutes drive. Good photo shoot. Did not seem that there was much to see in town, but this hotel was a perfect, restful place for a stop on the way to Madrid at the end of our tour through Andalusia.

This was our last stop on our trip from Northern France to the South of Spain. We had to wait for some time at reception as the Receptionist was also the telephone operator and was answering phone calls in spite of the presence of other staff behind the scenes. The room was reasonably good but the iron frame around the bed for curtains was silly and unneccessary and there were stubbed toes on a number of occasions. The safe didn't work and we had to ask for it to be opened. We arrived at 5pm and we knew that dinner was not served till 8.30. We asked if we could get a snack and were directed to the small bar area. After five minutes there was no sign of any staff so I had to go back to reception who then summoned help. The same thing happened in the dining room. We had reserved a table as advised by reception and when a staff member eventually arrived we were asked if we had a reservation inspite of the fact that we were two of only seven diners all night! The menu was poor and the wine list expensive and short. The food we were given was ok but the portions were extremely small. The beds were old and wobbly with loose legs. Thankfully we were only staying one night.

Well it's a nice spot but trying to contact the hotel by telephone is a challenge. The hotel itself is big and bright, lots of natural light and the outdoor swimming pool is great. The breakfast buffet is very good and the staff are friendly but the smell of the stagnant water from the drains meant that the rooms and corridors were overdosed with air freshener which was a pity because the balconies were nice and hopefully it was just a one off and some bad luck. The hotel was very clean.

I stayed here for five nights in June while attending an English Language course. The hotel was very comfortable. The accommodation was very good - the bed was comfortable, and the meals were also very good. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the hotel and grounds were very well looked after. There was a large park opposite the hotel, too, which is worth exploring. There is an inside courtyard in the hotel, where you can sit and enjoy the peace and quiet.

I do not think I have ever given a hotel 5 stars. However...
When the taxi refused to take my elderly Father, my partner and because of too many pieces of luggage....this hotel provided what was needed - SERVICE.
Patricia from the front desk came personally and picked us up as a courtesy. The reception is warm, comfortable and inviting. The reception staff pleasant and helpful. The room is comfortable, natural warm tones and very nice bath amenities.
I enjoyed an amazing prix-fixed dinner - four courses, coffee and tax for the price of a usual chain meal in the US.
In all regards - service - above and beyond, atmosphere, cleanliness, extras and amenities - it was well worth the price paid.
