Yes, hitel is renovating, but that is no reason for guest to suffer eating in any of the restauants. They refused to turn on tbe air condition inside tbe Isis hotel. Even in the hotel rooms we also had problems with the air condition too. Finally housekeeping came to adjust it to get cooling in tbe room.

Reasonable price convenient location. 5 min walk from the fantastic cairo museum and round the corner from main squares and bus routes. Train station 30 minute stroll max great for travelling further afield. Taxis and tube nearby too. Typical 3 star accommodation for Cairo. Staff and helpful lovely. Rooms and bedding clean. I would Recommend.

Stayed solo for 4 nights. Pros include free hotel pickup if u stay more than 2 nights, price of USD15 per night, free breakfast, location near Tahrir Sq & Egyptian Museum & Talaat Harb shopping area, 400m to Nasser Metro Station, satellite TV with English Aljazeera & CNN channels, clean room, comfy bed and clean bathroom with hot shower.
Only concern is the small creaky lift to the 15th floor where the hotel is.
Tip: better arrange for hotel pickup as it is difficult for taxis to find the hotel.

The isis hotel was the Best thing in cairo for me Cairo is not the Best place if you dont now Where is the good restaurant and cafe but the musuem in Cairo was good and taxa Price is 15-20 Egypt pund for 10min a good restaurant i have try...close to hossein masjed(3km from the hotel)special the pizza(35 pund) was good and Half chicken 35pund

Location OK: 14th and 15th floor of a skyscraper, with functioning elevator. 15 minutes on foot to Tahrir Square and Egyptian museum.
Room (402 on the door, 602 on the keyring): spacious, clean, nice night view over the junction in front of Hilton hotel, 6th October bridge and Gezira. Big, functioning fridge. No heating in room (impossible to use A/C for heating, as the remote control wasn’t provided), so beware if you are travelling in winter (consider bringing a sleeping bag). Only one chair in the room.
Erratic WiFi in the room, so if you wish a stable connection your best bet is to go to the reception desk.
Ridiculous breakfast, absolutely inadequate for an adult person. Be prepared for self catering. No supermarkets nearby, only small grocery shops with no fixed prices. Fortunately, Abu Tarek koshary take away and restaurant is two blocks away.
Overpriced excursions, better try to make a deal for half that price with a local taxi driver. We can recommend Wael taxi driver who speaks a passable English; his tarrif was 40 EGP / hour inside Cairo and can be reached at: +20 / 10 / 97281291.
