Not the experience I was expecting!

I was not impressed with this hotel, I've visited many hotels and this has to be the worst, it's very dated, run down, and dirty. on arrival I found stains on the bedding and towels, I had to ask a passing cleaner for new ones. My room seemed to have been lightly cleaned as there was dust and dirt in places.
The food quality for an all inclusive pass was poor! Unless you like frozen reheated food. They had chefs grilling a little bit of fresh meat in front of you how ever being a chef my self at one point, anyone could tell its low quality. The dining room is dated with horrible cheap plastic chairs, also the room has a funny smell to it.
I was seriously not impressed when I saw a cockroach crawl out the self service drinks machine, I quietly went over to who I'm guessing was the manager and privately and respectfully told him what I'd seen. His response was "well we can't do much, the machines are cleaned everyday" with his shoulders raised and arms opened, after observing no member of staff went to check it out!!. (In the dining hall)
The beds were hard as a rock, I woke up twice with a painful neck and back, I had to go out to the pharmacy and get pain relief cream. The beds were two single bed pushed together on wheels and every time me or my partner rolled over or moved, the beds moved apart extremely annoying and for falling between the gap well...
I did however enjoy the pool area all though yes it's a bit run down the pool seemed clean and not to cold. The entertainment was good and enjoyable.
But before I end, I will say that for an all inclusive package there is a very small range of soft and alcohol drinks as well as food through out the day.
I will not be staying here again, maybe once it's had a full refurb and sorted out the tasteless cold food I might visit. Might.

• Food excellent quality with wide selection covering various countries within Europe.
Breakfast, lunch & Teatime
You can eat 6-7 course meals!
• Alcohol is unlimited and all “locally” supplied with spirits being cheaper versions of the more recognised brands!
Various cocktails.
Lager on draught around pool bars & restaurant bar.
• Snacks available free at bars all-day in between meals.
• Rooms with Pool view :-
A/C, Fridge, Hob & extractor with basic cupboards although no pans or cutlery.
• Beds comfortable,clean and bedding changed daily.
• TV has some British channels including BBC1 & ITV
• Communial areas well cleaned daily.
• Pools 2 large pools and 2 smaller kids pools some heated and in sun at different times of day.
• Weather wear was Shorts and flip flops for 7 days!
• Entertainment provided by local lads & girls with couple of Polish girls speaking various languages.
Very entertaining for all ages and children of all ages love it!

Last minute Mistake

The location of this hotel is perfect for Del Duque beach as well as Fanabe and a little nightlife, the reasons we booked it, but don't be deceived by this it doesn't match any other hotel in the Adeje area at whatever star rating they are.
This hotel is dirty, dingy, depressing and in disrepair it's definitely not 3 or 4 star accommodation as advertised its more a greasy spoon which in my opinion doesn't achieve a 1 star rating.
The advertised photographs on tour operator websites must be dated as they don't reflect the current condition of the place, guests photographs do reflect the desperate state the hotel is in. Since my return home I've read reviews saying it reminds guests as being 'prison like' and I can fully understand that, wish I'd taken notice of those before I booked.
Yes the hotel was cheap at £735.92, 2 people, 1 room, 7 nights not including flights but it's not worth the cost. Paid all inclusive but bed and breakfast was as much as we could stomach we stayed away from the place from early morning till late evening.
Rooms are basic, bathroom unhygienic with dirty rusty and leaking fixtures, toilet didn't flush, air conditioning sounded like a jet engine and blew air like a hair dryer. Furniture is as guest fotos show very dated and in urgent need of replacements. Entertainments area with bars is filthy and I agree with other reviews a health concern. We were woken every morning at around 4:30am by what sounded like workmen emptying refuse bins in the yard below our room.
Booked this hotel as a one week last minute break and personally wish I'd saved my money and stayed at home. If you are considering booking do your research before hand so as not to be thoroughly disappointed like I was.

My partner and I were given this hotel two days before we were travelling due to an accommodation issue at our previous hotel.

Reading reviews on here we were of course put off straight away! To give an honest review upon arrival the reception looked ok, friendly staff etc. We had to take ourselves to our room allocated, which was on the third floor with a view on the main road, please note this is noisey first thing in the morning. The room is very basic and dated, I did ask reception for an upgrade but they were fully booked so we had to stay put. We honestly wasn't in the room long enough to let this bother us too much, but of course it isn't ideal.

The pool area again was ok, always a sun bed available and life guard cleaned the pool area every evening. Pool bar had a self service for drinks etc so no queues.

Breakfast was the standard that you get in all hotels which suited us but could be busy at times. We only had lunch twice in the hotel which again was ok nothing outstanding. I cannot comment on dinner as we never had this, we went to the local town every night which is a 10 min walk down hill, great variety of choice.

Overall I wouldn't choose to stay at this hotel again until it has a refurb, but honestly don't truly believe all the negative reviews as the hotel just needs some TLC! This could potentially be a great hotel in a fab location.

We have just returned from a short holiday to Tenerife. We picked this hotel as the location was exactly where we wanted to be. There is a lovely beach just 10 minuets walking distance. However the hotel was such a let down. The photographs on all the holiday sites are very misleading. It lacked curb appeal and inside was even worse. Although it was clean it was so unattractive and resembles an open prison. We only used the hotel to sleep and to eat breakfast, no complaints about the breakfast lots to choose from. To anyone thinking about booking please think twice it will spoil your holiday
