the location is very bad. Facility is also poor in hotel. Low quality of hotel. In this price anyone can get good quality of hotel in Kolkata. which has so much many good facilities. Terrible experience till now in my life.

Just Sleep there, no expectation, awesome location and that is it. So no star rating. Very near to Kolkata New market. So you can stay there if you can sleep anywhere and for you if location matters the most. Better than many same type of hotels.

I stayed this (Hotel Jaapon) hotel several times. Near most popular places as like New Market, Mirza Galib Street & also very well known Park Street. Hotel staff are very friendly. Best location for Bangladeshi Traveler. I am recommended this hotel for Budget Traveler.

This hotel should name as a hostel....for stay when you have no other options. Staffs are very lousy, I'll mannered except the restaurant staff Ibrahim. From owner to cleaner all work as broker of the hotel , no loyalty with the customers. They never keeps commitment to customers. You may have advance money, but while you come rooms may not be for you. Because they break their rules even 50/100 rupees & give rooms to others. This hotel should never be choice for any family, it's my experience of last 2 times including recent experience of Feb 2016.

Good room service. Good vegetarian food served in our room. Safe place. Satisfactory room with attached bathroom. Walkable distance from us consulate general. New market nearby. Taxi available just outside.
