I stayed at Jacobs Inn Hostel a couple of days ago. It was a really great Hostel, in a great and central location with a cool vibe. I like the fact there’s a curtain on the beds, gives you a little more privacy when sleeping.
The only 2 pieces of “constructive criticism” I could give them is that firstly there was a bit of a problem with the water. It took a very long time to exit the sinks and the showers into the drains. This happened in both our private bathroom and the public ones. Secondly, the breakfast times, if it could be slightly extended until 10 I think it would be more convenient for some guests.
Overall I had a great stay and would definitely come back and recommend it to others! I met some great people and I created many great memories here!

Very pleasant and friendly Hostel for the most part. I felt a lot of the cleaning staff could be rather rude at times but the front desk was always friendly and helpful.
Free breakfast was very nice although it would have been nice if it wasnt 7.30 to 9.30 but rather an hour later or so atleast.
Storage was very good and spacious.
Bathrooms , especially the communal ones were spotless.
Overall the place was fantastic and very clean.
Had a lot of information regarding tours and stuff to do and the front desk always had helpful tips and advice and made great conversation.
Would most definitely recommend anyday and would definitely stay here again

Big modern hostel, well run. Has elevator. There may be school trip groups there because of this. Close to central bus station and train station to north. Talbot st close by with lots of food places.Pub next door with trad. music and food. Ten minutes walk to temple bar area.

I went to Dublin to Watch a football match, but when I arrived in Jacobs Inn, I just wanted to stay here, but I had to force myself out. Its modern, nice and spacy. They have some boxes where you can store your bag, if you arrive too early. You get a numbered bed, which is nice, so you dont have to fight with the others about a bed. There is a box underneath the bed, where you can store your Things. Otherwise the place offers almost everything. Opportunity to load your telefon, tours, kitchen, vendomate, television, gameroom. Placed in a vibrant street with good restaurants. My only complain is, that your bed moves, when the one underneath moves, as the beds are connected and there will alwas be noise in a shared room. But the bed was very nice to lay in. There is toilet and shower to reach directly from the room, but also ekstra toilets and showers in the aisle. The staff was good.

Well, when you pay not too much and you are in the city centre of Dublin you can’t pretend to have luxury. Anyway, this hostel is well organised and it has a huge lobby. Shower is inside the room, so it is for people that sleep inside. Easy to each from Airport. I will go back for my next we in Dublin.
