What People are saying

Great place to hang out with the family.

ash0knr on 10/11/2017 07:36

Nice place. Purely vegan food, decent in taste. Nothing to write home about, thought about the food. We ran short on the desserts on both the days we were there. Friendly staff.

Rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Not very high end. Lotsa place to roam around. Pools are cleaned everyday. The place is pet friendly. They have a variety of games, including things like cycling. The walk from the resort to the main road is a pleasant one, long enough to be decently time consuming, short enough not to get you tired.

The place and the location itself is phenomenal. Green and clean. An added attraction was the emu enclosure. There is a duck pool. The animals there will keep the kids engaged for quite some time.

Seemed like a pretty safe place. Added advantage for the religious types... Chikka Thirupathi is just 15 minutes away by car.

Great Potential, unutilized yet

Hope this review will make the property owners take more good care of this wonderful place

Visited with family on our younger son's birthday

Shorter route via Sarjapur is bad because of the roads. Longish route via Hosur is much better

Had paid advance amount upfront, so when the first interaction at the gate was to ask for full remaining payment before you even said hi/hello to the customer was irritating

Hence I insisted on paying the money on the way back as my wallet was packed up in the trunk, though I had it with me.

So first of you all you should change the customer interaction methods of your key staff if not all

Mind you I am fully fine that they asked for the remaining payment, but the way was not right at all. I don't blame the individual as I clearly see he was advised and instructed to do so. It is a management issue

Pros:

Resort is really very spacious
Has wonderful play area and nice little huts every where with stone bed and a cushion to relax on
Kids play area is nice an multiple small play items are strewn around the site so you can spread the crowd than all of them coming to one place at the same time
Front office, Toilets, Lunch area, bullock-cart, pottery (great old man with youthful energy taught us how to do a small pot), village games area all nicely done
Staff were mostly polite and helpful all the time
Food was reasonably good and quantities sufficient on the buffet
Lots of space for simply lazing around
Lunch is followed by Magic Show, Housie and Fire Dance in that order every day I guess

CONS:

Definitely not friendly for the differently-abled or the elderly who cannot walk
Huge boulder is in the ground and makes the walk way near the front office so during rains it can be very dangerous
Kids play area, though is nice the height of some of the activities without good flooring can lead to accidents and even fractures - You need to ensure good soft flooring in the kids play area
Not much organized in terms of handling a large crowd as it becomes very basic in terms of activities to engage kids in as most tasks can be completed in about 60 minutes even if you stretch and take time
Need to put in a cycle track or two around the property as it is under planned for sure
Swimming pool is absolutely not maintained - you need to pay attention and spend quality money on a good cleaning group to keep it nice and tidy - I asked my kids not to play as the water was really looking filthy and if they accidentally drank it or even the contact to skin may be infectious too - Such a nice pool you have but not at all taken care of well

All in all despite teh cons, it is still a good day outing place, but can be a great weekend getaway too if they only realize what a wonderful property they have at their disposal

Nothing to miss Getaway

If you feel you have a spare day and want to drive pass Bangalore major traffic to a place which is quite and your family wants to have a get together - Jain Farms is a place.

I would rather suggest for couples who are really stressed for time and wants to spend some quality time together. There is nothing new here and you might feel once you go.

Driving Distance:

An hour and half drive from Bangalore depends where are you put up. We drove from Old Airport road. Roads are okay with lots of speed breakers and few you might feel like hills. Plan to start early in the morning to avoid Sarjapur traffic, but use Google maps for better navigation.

Good Things:

Very Serene and when we went there were hardly 20 - 25 people and we were shocked as it was Saturday.

you have khats (Netted beds) to relax and if it rains it would definitely make a good relax time.

Kids play area, but nothing different to any normal garden.

Staff is very courteous especially the trainees from Salem hotel management college.

Food, they treat you well with continuous supply starting with Chat, then main south Indian buffet and tea with snacks.

Entertainment - Staff tries well to provide some in house entertainment like Magic Show, fire show and Tambola. There is one guess the price contest too so get your prices for normal grocery (wont disclose much) right.

Wash Room they have kept it pretty clean, but there was no soap available.

Variety of birds like Turkey, EMU and ducks.

Village games it ends by 1:00- 1:30 PM, Pot making it was fun.

Astrologer only if you understand Tamil and Telugu.

Bullock cart ride if you have not experienced it before.

Can improve:

Quality of food, could have been better not the value for price except the chats which were okay. I think most of the people come for food and relaxation. The food is too Oily, spicy and seemed compromised. Not Value for money.

More professional approach, this is something i felt was lacking.

Go for a family or couple getaway if you really do not have any other choice.

Nice place to relax and enjoy

Really good place for family to spend time with lots of new activities and games to play. Food was vegetarian, was tasty and also hygienic. Evening group games was fun, housie game was the best. Very calm and huge spaces to walk around. Couldn't use swimming pool due to rains. Overall good experience!

Sunday well spent in resort

Visited the resort with a couple of friends. Resort is big with large open spaces to play team games. Good place to stroll around, lots of greenery and well maintained swimming pool, but need to pay little extra charges for that. Area is actually filled with many trees. Food is very tasty, only drawback is they don't serve non-vegetarian food. We enjoyed all activities, few birds are also there in the firm. Good place for one day outing as it's away from the noise and pollution in the city.
