I stayed at Jaiwana Haveli with my husband and we had been upgraded to the lake view room with a terrace. The room was basic, (not the most comfortable beds) as was the washroom, but having a very large private terrace with a lake view was amazing. The breakfast was delicious and complimentary. (Keep in mind that the rooftop patio for breakfast isn’t open earlier than 8am as there are people staying underneath.) The location is great and everything is within walking distance. Bring earplugs as there are mosques around that do morning prayer around 5-6am.
If you need to get laundry done, don’t get it done at the hotel. Take it to Sunbright Laundry, across from Jagdish Temple. (5 minute walk) Drop it off around 10am and you’ll have it done in 24 hours.
Also, Milo is the cutest hotel beagle you’ll ever meet!

Location, location, location. Right in the middle of everything. You can walk to all the sights. Upon arrival the reception staff gave up an overview of the area and a map, amazing. They continued to be helpful the whole time, encouraging us to do and see things with their advice and directions. Rooms where small but comfortable. The restaurant had great views of the lake, sunrise and sunset. I could not recommend this hotel enough.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and very enjoyed it. We had a room with a view of the lake. The location is perfect, close to everywhere i.e. market, Lake Pichola and City Palace.
Breakfast and dinner are served at the roof top restaurant with a breathtaking panoramic view of City Palace, Lake Pichola and Jag Niwas. The food was delicious and service staff fantastic.
We had to check out very early morning and the hotel accommodated us and packed breakfast for us to eat at the airport.

The best thing about Jaiwana Haveli is the location. The view from the restaurant is fantastic and the wonderful food served and service is a pleasure. The owners take genuine interest in making sure each guest makes full use of their time in Udaipur and they guide on the walk-able places from the hotel. If you are travelling by car, you will need to leave it parked outside the old city limits and arrive here in an auto-rickshaw. The Jagdish temple and Udaipur palace are walking distance from the hotel and the lanes are lined with lively shops with lots to see.
Clean rooms with sufficient space make this a comfortable stay.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and enjoyed it. Rooms were clean and staff super friendly and helpful. We had a room with a view of the lake. The location is perfect, close to markets, Lake Pichola and City Palace. We also ate dinner at the roof top restaurant for the 3 nights as the food was delicious, service staff fantastic and view amazing.
