Anyang is such a pleasant city. The moment we arrive at th train station, we fell in love with this city. The road was wide and clean, the traffic was good, the taxi diver was friendly and helpful. This hotel is slightly away from the city centre according to the locals eventhough by taxi is only 7 minutes away from Wenfeng Tower. The staffs are helpful and friendly. The rooms allocated to us were bright and spacious. We really had a great stay here.

We hoped for clean, and this was it. Clean everything. The room had a big window, was bright, clean, and on the top floor (we asked). The staff was helpful and kind. This is a good hotel, and we would stay here again no question. You really need to have a Chinese speaker along - no English. But... you might be okay with a good dictionary.
Restaurant was mediocre from our point of view, but the menu has pictures, and you can point if you can't speak Chinese. There is a small Hualian supermarket nearby, and the people were shocked to see foreigners. But once we spoke Chinese everyone was lovely.
We were visiting in mid-November, and the historical sites were basically empty.
This hotel is a five minute cab ride to the Tianning Si Pagoda, and it cost 10 rmb to go to the Shang Ruins (Yin Xu). Yes, this is a very convenient, clean and pleasant hotel.

Great value for money. Restaurants & supermarket within walking distance. If you haven't visited a Chinese public park at night time before, there's one nearby where you can get a feel of the locals' interesting leisure activities.
