I visited during Diwali with family for 2 nights.
Great location, good food, nice pickup and drop service to all locations.
JLR as expected staff was very very courteous.. and service was prompt.. simple things like making food ready on time was taken care..
Sloth bear sanctuary was unique.. we saw quite few birds on the way.. viewing area has sure sights due to feeding locations .. but after a while became bit boring... maybe needed some variety .
Hampi was great .. guide transformed us into a different era .. best is Vithall temple and of course whole sight is admirable.. but tiring for kids though..
I did bird watching tour next morning and saw eagle owl .. amongst others ...
Overall a memorable trip..
Special mention for staff Rakesh the manager and Mahesh.
I forgot my phone charger in room after leaving Hampi .. Mr Rakesh sent me the same to my house via courier !!!
So I say while location is great and service is superb.

From the moment we stepped into their zone, it was awesome! We were three girls who were a little skeptical of the trip we had planned. However, Mahesh and Venkatesh quelled these worries and gave us an experience we cannot still get over. They answered all our queries patiently and gave us perfect insights and advice. Venkatesh was a very entertaining host and Mahesh was very accommodating. The coral ride that Venkatesh arranged for us was out of the world a must do. They, also provided us with a driver Sharananna who was equally awesome for the rest of the trip even though we stayed with them only for a night. Thank you for such a wonderful experience and seeing to it that as tourists we were not taken advantage of. Moreover, when we need to travel individually Mahesh arranged the transportation at a nominal rate.
At first the package seems too expensive. however the traveller need to keep in mind that food, travel and tour guide is taken care of. Also, the resort is very close to hampi and other spots. HIghly, highly recommended!!!!!

This is a excellent place to visit if you like rocky mountains and Archaeology. The staff at this place make your stay all the more pleasant. The guides are very good and knowledgeable. The breakfast could have been better. The cottages are very comfortable and they ensured my family came back rejuvenated. My children are now huge fans of JLR.

The Hospitality and warmness started from the time we made the online booking. I had heard about Jungle Lodges & Resorts' properties but was visiting for the first time.We were reaching early n the morning from Bangalore so I checked with Rakesh, the Manager about pickup and early checkin. He assured me that we would be picked up and early check in was not a problem. I got a text message the day before my arrival as to who would pick us up, the driver name and number.
The property - Eco friendly cottages set in 29 acres of scrub forest,Well maintained, beautiful and the wilderness around is very soothing.
The people - Driver Venkatesh needs special mention, very helpful planning our sightseeing trips, very informative and a naturalist too - I never enjoyed Bird watching like this before. He was more thrilled than us that we got to see sloth bears, the Indian eagle owls etc.. Rakesh the manager, the attentive but unobtrusive staff were all caring. The food was excellent, each meal was worth waiting for !
They organised a good guide to take us round the Hampi Holy and Royal enclosures, very safe coracle ride and good buy of small momentos.
Thank you for making our stay memorable. My twins, husband , my friend and I connected with nature during the 3 day stay there.

We stayed in this resort from August 12 to 14. We have stayed at their Bidar resort before and we had high expectations. Our expectations were not only met but also exceeded.
The cottages are lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is super courteous. We interacted mostly with Mr. Mahesh and Mr. Venkatesh. Both were very helpful and knowledgeable.
The food is simple but great. You get breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner.
We arrived on August 12 and rested for a while before heading to Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary. The fun was being inside a scrub jungle. It was nice and quiet. We saw a few birds too while going to the sanctuary. Not many birds inside though.
The next day we went for a nature walk (bird watching). That was fun. It is better to walk inside the resort if you want to see more birds. We spotted White-browed Bulbuls, Spotted Owlet, Long-tailed Shrike, Black-winged Kite, Common Iora, a woodpecker and many other birds.
We did not take the Hampi tour on Day 2 morning and chose to relax and roam around the resort. We went for the tour in the second half and saw the famous chariot and other ruins. If you do not visit these, you will feel you've missed out. If you visit it, you won't find anything worth writing home about. I found the ruins quite average.
On Day 3 we went for our trek and nature walk outside the resort. It was a great trek but not great for spotting birds. If you want to watch birds roam inside the resort. You will find a lot of birds all day around.
