If you are depending on a hotel with decent Wifi in your room, don't read any further. I am rather sorry to write this, since I have visited this hotel 5 times in the past 7 years - for good reasons. In fact, I believe it is the best value for money you can get in Platja de Muro. It offers perfectly well-kept, clean and quiet rooms, most of which have been refurbished (floor by floor) over the past years. It offers a decent breakfast buffet with a good variety of continental and some mallorquin choices for every taste. We didn't book half board during our last two visits, as we had grown a little tired of dining in. To be fair, the quality of the food is ok in relation to the average you can expect from hotels in this area. For better food quality, check out Las Gaviotas next door, if you are prepared to spend considerably more for a hotel with slightly better food quality. Or try some restaurants around or in Alcudia. In my opinion, the biggest asset of this hotel is its staff. Most of them are doing a really good job (cleaning, waiters in the dining room) and they keep staying with their employer over the years, which I take as a good sign indeed. I truly hope that management will fix their current WiFi problem quickly (never had any trouble with it during previous visits, this time it was weak or down for most of the time). Having voiced this complaint, we shall be happy to return again to find it improved.

Booked a short trip to Mallorca for a mini break and stayed in this hotel for 2 nights.
Check in was very good even though i was actually early - 1.30 pm. Very nice man explained everything and informed me there was also a free spa.
Room was ok. Nothing special but perfectly adequate. Could have done with a kettle but for £45 a night half board i didn't really expect this.
The bar in the hotel was good and the drinks were reasonably priced. It was overcast and not nice weather but the pool did look nice. I didn't check out the spa.
I wasn't very thrilled with the area. It wasn't dangerous or anything and it has lots of shops but i felt it was more city like. I have been to Mallorca 4 times, to Calle de Mallorca and stayed in Club Cala Romani hotel. I much prefer this area as its more quiet and more holidayish.
I did manage to find a nice restaurant and had an amazing fish platter. It's not particularly cheap here and most of the restaurants were serving pizza and english stuff that you can get at home so i wasn't over whelmed.
The beach looked nice...
Dinner at the hotel was VERY good. Great selection and good service as well.
Breakfast again was very good.
Unfortunately the weather was dire whilst i was here but i still had a nice time and would recommend this hotel for a short break even if the weather is rubbish.
Oh one thing to be aware of. I booked a hopper transfer and it took > 2 hours to get here. I was nearly last on the bus but still. It's quite a way out and the reason i didn't go to Calle de Mallorca again was because its 1.5 hours on the bus. I didn't realise this was the same if not further....
Thanks JS for a lovely stay and i may well be back if i have a couple of spare days again. Your half board option is excellent value and the food was lovely.

We liked this hotel, but they need to improve cleaning service. We stayed on the fourth floor and we had never seen cockroaches in our room. Everyday breakfast and dinner were very different (paella, Asian or Japan style, pizzas, salads and fresh fruits). The restaurant had a variety of dishes but I think the quality of food can be better. The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly, especially in the restaurant and reception (woman Magdalena). Swiming pool in the SPA area was cold. A lot of Germans. We felt very well in this hotel.

Would definatley stay here again, lovely clean rooms, very helpful staff, great location. Food amazing, lots of choices for meat eaters...struggled abit being a vegetarian but chefs were very accommodating in making special dishes for me. Very close to the sea, with lovely views, central place, we got a hire car to travel rest of island which is stunning, Pollensa worth a visit. Will be coming back, thank you xx

We stayed at this hotel for 1 week in August. The reason we chose this hotel was because a friend of ours was staying there. On arrival the hotel looked nice, but check in went very slow. We finally got a room key and at first glance the room looked nice. But when we opened the door to the bathroom we saw that there was mold in the ceiling.
We arrived at the middle of the night so we chose to go to bed. The bed was awful. For us who are over 170 cm, it's too short. It was hard and obviously very old, the bottom of the bed was torn and dirty.
The worst thing about this hotel is the cleaning. The hotel is dirty. Despite the fact that they had been cleaning our room, there was still plenty of dust and sand in the room. And on several occasions we found cockroaches in our room! Disgusting! The staff said that it was our fault because we had the porch door open in the evening, but that's not true! We always closed the door because we were afraid that bugs could come in.
If you ask the staff about something, it is always answered with a sigh. They are obviously not interested in providing service.
Breakfast is fine and the pool is nice. Short walk to the beach.
There are also very thin walls, so you hear everything from the neighbors room.
This is a hotel I never will stay at again!
