From the minute we arrived until the minute we left the staff service at the JW was AMAZING - professional, friendly, polite and accommodating. Thank you to each person who made us feel like very welcome guests. Our room was spacious with a HUGE bathroom. Impeccably clean and comfortable and best of all QUIET!!! Our only complaint was the concierge level lounge breakfast hours. On Saturday and Sunday they need to open at 7AM not 7:30 (a lot of people standing in the hallways waiting for them to open thought the same thing). They were totally overwhelmed on Sat. with huge groups of people, but the food was still good. They need to re-think the location of the espresso machine, however, because it holds up the entire food line (it's at the end). Food was varied and quite good, however, and again the staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Would definitely recommend this hotel, and if in Chicago again would try to stay here.

Recently stayed two nights with my mother and daughter at the JW Marriott Chicago on points. Platinum status resulted in an upgrade to an executive level room in what may have been the quietest part of the building - we didn't hear a thing (which was wonderful). Room was spacious, clean and incredibly comfortable. The staff was top-notch - very professional, welcoming and helpful. Executive lounge staff was particularly cool under pressure (absolutely packed with large families both Saturday and Sunday mornings). The pool area was relaxing and well appointed. The location was quite convenient to all of the downtown sights. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Enjoyed our time at this hotel. Erica at the front desk was very attentive to our needs. Our room was the perfect size for me and my husband. Had a little hiccup during the stay but front desk during the day made it right. Valets, concierges, and all staff during the day were very serviceable and friendly. Love the vibe of the lobby and the downstairs waiting area. I prefer Volare to Florentine, although the service there is great too. We will definitely stay here when we come back!

This hotel is frequented by business customers, but for good reason. The Lounge is amazing. Food is spectacular for both breakfast AND dinner. They also give you a choice of wines and beer.
There is a large pool and hot tub along with a spa and gym on the lower level.
Rooms are spacious (by my NYC standards) and a lot are five piece with separate soaking tub, stand-up shower, and dual vanities. Views are usally not too good and the area of Chicago is in the heart of downtown in the middle of the business district. But if you can't get anything in the Magnificent Mile area and you want a ton of great amenities and delicious food, then this is a solid choice. I was there for business but I don't think I would want to change. The hotel is just too amazing.

This was my first time staying at this property for a mom/daughters weekend. It was wonderful. It is definitely child friendly. There is an indoor pool and there were several children here. It was amazingly quiet. The staff was wonderful. There is extraordinary attention to detail. I would absolutely stay here again.
