Stayed for a night - room was facing the west lake, but apart from that, nothing works well - the washroom has no door, the electrical switch is not working and worst of all, very noisy with people roaming along the corridor nearly 11pm! Next morning, breakfast is served at 1/F, with far too many people than tables, food quality nothing short of surprises! Will return with better options elsewhere only if invited.

Hotel is located in front of Huizhou West Lake with several scenic spots around and plenty restaurants near the lake. Hotel looks like a 5 stars hotel with luxurious decoration. My room was very well-decorated, spacious and equipped with a Spa in the bathroom, which was not working I guess for some time. Breakfast is very good with both Chinese and Western food. There are several facilities I didn't have time to use such as gym, swimming pool, billiard, KTV and so on. Staff were nice and efficient. Room price was quite cheap (450 RMB). Only advice, book a room above the 10th floor; mine was on the 7th and, on the first night, I was able to hear people singing on the 4th floor KTV. Overall, it is a very good hotel in a nice city.

The hotel was booked on my behalf by my hosts who told me that it is the best hotel in the area. The room was very spacious in the style of a typical Chinese 5 star hotel. The view of the lake was also very pleasant. The bar on the top floor lacked atmosphere when I popped in for a nightcap. The breakfast buffet was good with plenty of choice. I would certainly stay there again.

Well maintained hotel with English speaking staff. Wifi worked well in the rooms and lobby. Breakfast was a wide selection of both Chinese and American favorites. Room had sunken bath tubs, robes, slippers, great bath products. Only stayed at hotel one night and look forward to visiting again. Very quiet and a breakfast buffet that merged both Chinese specialties as well as American cuisines. English is spoken here. Look forward to visiting next year for a longer time.

Great room (though uninspired decoration, all beige), well maintained, good staff, decent pool.... but still yet another Chinese hotel that can't get western breakfast food right. Oily omelettes, stale cereals, and school cafeteria atmosphere.
