Wonderful Accommodation - Great Location

This was a big family get together, which meant we used the entire resort. We couldn't fault anything with the accommodation. Two lodges down the road had king beds that could be split into singles, as well as a double bed and elevated single in the third room. There's also a kitchen and two bathrooms. We didn't need the kitchen as we used the HUGE (and sensationally equipped) kitchen up in the Lodge.
We also used the Studio (which slept a family of six) and the Owners cottage which was great.
We were able to accommodate 12 adults (some couples some singles) 3 teenagers and 6 kids under 10. Kids played on the tennis court and everyone went bush walking.
Nigel couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating, even recommending a caterer for our major party night. All in all a fabulous weekend.
Wonderful celebration

I recently had the good fortune of celebrating a significant birthday at Kanimbla. You are never sure what you will get when booking on line, however it exceeded expectations. Thank you Nigel for being a generous and trusting host and for allowing us all to share your special place. Look forward to my next birthday!

The two of us arrived on Friday night from Sydney, but Nigel made sure, this was not going to be a problem: he awaited us as we drove down the drive way, showed us around and had already taken care of one of the major issues, preheating our Studio!
While the bathroom is across to a seperate little cabin, it turned out to be no problem at all: the walkway was lit up all night and the bathroom heated - finally I know what these really cosy, fluffy huge bathrobes are good for:-).
Overall, we were very happy with the tranquility of the place and it being embedded in nature (we trie to catch a good sunset from their property, but unfortunately those low hanging clouds at the horizon messed the light up ever evening...), while at the same time we had the luxury to duck out and indulge at our favourite gourmets places in the Blue Mountains.
We are certainly considering coming back. (Ah, btw, only slight drawback for us was that doing it by public transport appeared too hard.)

We spent the past weekend at Kanimbla celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary along with our three children, their partners, 6 grandchildren, 2 sister bridesmaids and partners – 18 of us in all. The venue was ideal – room to spread and then convene together in the Adobe, wood fires, dinner on arrival, Red Pepper catering for the big dinner on Saturday night and the entire place to ourselves. Everything was perfect. A dream come true. Thank you Nigel and Tony for your professionalism, and personal touch.
Best big family weekend!

We celebrated a significant birthday with our family group aged from 5 weeks to 80, and everyone loved their time here. The tennis court and bush tracks catered for those with extra energy and there are lovely indoor and outdoor areas for relaxing and catching up. The separate buildings gave people as much privacy or togetherness as they wanted.
The resort is enclosed in beautiful natural bush.
Each accommodation building has a simple kitchen, but we mostly used the amazing commercial kitchen in the central lodge building. The lodge was really our headquarters, with space for the whole group to cook and dine together, to enjoy the sunny deck and to gather around the wood fire in the lounge.
The sleeping accommodation was very quiet, comfortable and really clean. And the showers are excellent.
Many many thanks to Nigel who has been an outstanding host.
