Time to revamp

Depressing dark rooms with bad lighting and dirty floors,in fact my room had a gaping break in the floor too😞.karon hospitality was BAD. Actually despite all efforts by the staff including a reminder for breakfast the place urgently needs a makeover if it wishes to remain in the industry. The linen is totally done to death. Dirty, rough with a stale smell. Room freshness cannot do what genuine fresh stuff can. In fact was so disgusted with the cleanliness that I chose to stay away from the breakfast. The kettle in the room was tarnished and as for the crockery in the room,it was ugghhhh. Stay away from karon.by the way this awful service is not cheap
Excellent Hotel Great Service and Excellent Staff

I loved this hotel!! I first loved the staff!! Very kind and friendly!! Always helpful and there when you need them. The food is superb!! Many selections and authentic!! So good!! Although many Hindu areas are vegetarians, this hotel has a a great meat selection from Mutton to chicken cooked many ways. You can ask for mild food if you don't like spicy food like me. They are located in what is known as the rough side of India but to me its centrally located with bargaining shopping right around the corner!! I prefer to stay in an area like this instead of an tourist area so I can get the authentic India experience. The hotel rooms are EXTRA clean with piping hot water!! They have American cable stations and movies, an amazing breakfast buffet, and an amazing staff!! If you need it, just ask!! The only improvement needed is the wi-fi on the 3rd floor. It's also noisy, but it's just the area; ask for a quiet room. Also a few small tiny pinky sized nail moths in the bathroom, but not enough to ruin your stay. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!
Budget hotel abit far from metro 10min walk to shopping

Budget hotel quite far from metro and Lajpat Negar shopping and central market selling clothing craft restaurents etc good are 10min walk or 20rupee by tricycle. Bus stops are fronting the hotel busy traffic ring road but not safe for tourist as its pack. The closest metro is moolchan walk about 8min but need to cross the ring road underground way. Lajpat Nagat metro on the same side of hotel but walk 10to15 min so take tuk2 for 20rupee is more convenient passing the shopping area. Room 302 twin is good reasonable clean but towels sometimes given looks dull not so white probably no bleach is used in cleaning. Sheets clean white. Room is large but furniture abit wornout n lights are abit dim. Lobby counter located next to entrance to rooms not same entrance. There is a security guard at outter entrance n its safe. Breakfast soso very basic with bread eggs cereal some local Indian bread n veg curry banana papaya. Would come back for good rate. Stayed 10days visited all attractions
