Kasauli castle resort is a small resort 4 kms before Kasauli. The few things i like about the resort was 1. They had a big screen on which they play movie in the evening, rooms with garden view have advantage of watching it from room itself 2. They have a small play area for kids so they can be engaged in those activities 3. close to market so you can buy anything if you wish to 4. The food quality was very good - it was fresh and well cooked Some disadvantages were 1. The resort is 4 kms before kasauli and if you visit kasauli then its better to stay there itself 2. The staff is a bit rigid on things like providing extra bed without any extra charge 3. They do not provide even blankets to drivers forget about accomodation Overall a good place to stay if you dont get any option in Kasauli....

Lovely experience, smooth check-in and lovely rooms with wire obstructed views yet amazing, had to remind them of complementary welcome drink which came swiftly, room had genuinely required amenities, best part was food and staff, outstanding food, both dinner and breakfast was scrumptious and indeed delectable.
Staff was courteous and helpful where required and since my wife had liked it so much that we genuinely gifted the Food and Beverage service staff a box of sweets for everyone working hard to make our experience best.
The only let down is that it was our anniversary which I did mentioned while booking as a special needs on payment page of goibibo which is to be viewed by Hotel staff, so neither any gesture came from their end nor they even wished us.
Nevertheless else worth the time spend.

No Internet
No food after 10 not even something.
Un-Professional staff which says straight no on face.
My first & last time in this hotel.Really had a bad time there..

Kasauli castle, in the olden days was known as Rose common castle. It was quaint little English cottage build by one of the British Army officer who made Kausali his permanent home. By time we were small he was no longer alive. According to my dad he was great fun to be with even in old age. Before his death his family has fist migrated to Delhi and then overseas. It is nice to see semblance of old structure still there but greatly renovated. I miss my old quaint Kasauli steeped in old world charm. With growing tourist from nearby some of the charm is gone for ever. Best years of my life I lived in Kasauli.

I had booked this hotel through MMT assured and in spite of it being non refundable I trusted MMT assured and went ahead and made the payment as the hotel room looked really good in the pictures put on MMT. After I reached the hotel to my dismay the hotel room which I was given and the one shown in the pictures were totally different. The photos shown on the website look totally photo shopped deceiving the customer into believing that the room has a valley view. However there one side of their room faces the hotel's own lawn and the road and another side faces the terrace of another hotel. I spoil my one day trip to Kasauli after booking this hotel and neither Make my trip customer service nor the hotel staff were ready to accept that what they are showing in the pictures is totally different. I check-out of the hotel immediately.
