Loved the stay. Very nice and pretty.
Great service. I would Highly recommend it to every romantic couple.
The guests are mostly older people so do not expect to party :)
Yet - the visit and stay was superb.

The service, the rooms, the dinner, all was perfect with great attention to detail. The serre restaurant has a very nice ambiance, with a pleasant view on the grounds. Good value for money, we were very satisfied.

Great venue, well decorated with the personal touch you expect from personal. Perfect for a get away weekend. The golf course is not the biggest, but challenging for golfers who want to improve and enjoy the landscape

Beautiful looking hotel in immaculate grounds. Very impressive on the drive through the gates.
When we arrived there were several elderly folk playing golf (this is very much a golfer's hotel).
We had an efficient and professional check in.
Room was on the first floor, quiet with a very small balcony over-looking the lake (unfortunately the door to balcony was broken so we struggled to close it so didn't use balcony.
I'm being a little picky here but to see 'hair and shower gel' in one bottle attached to the wall of the shower felt a little cheap to me (something I've seen before in Premier Inns so don't expect in an R&C hotel).
Breakfast was disappointing. It's buffet style with fruit, LOTS of breads and some meats and cheeses. All well and good but when you pay around 22 euros for breakfast I'd expect to be able to order freshly cooked hot food. Surely an omelette wouldn't have been too much trouble? There were scrambled eggs on the buffet but unfortunately they were pretty tasteless.
Overall, a pretty hotel at first sight but food in a hotel of this level should be outstanding and this wasn't and bathrooms should offer shampoo and shower gels that aren't attached to a wall!

Nice standard rooms, where a screen for the window and better mattresses could be an improvement. Bathroom with double sink and shower apart from bathtub. Breakfast and dinner simply SUPER. Wine list never seen before, specials form South Africa. Food and service perfect.
